In view of the results of these measurements, the membrane may be considered to be a very effective impermeable barrier to water. Stretch ceiling has received awards from the Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association (SPATA UK) for its vapour barrier properties.

Material retention: Shape-retentive molecules - membrane ‘remembers’ its original shape. May require heating for full return to shape if stretched. Once installed, a stretch ceiling assembly can support the weight of one or
two people (as shown), or 100 litres of water on an area of one square metre.
