Achiever. David Toler II. our sincere congratu- lations for that which you have accomplish during your High School years. And now as you about to begin a new journey into your College years, would would like to leave you some food for thought!
•Be a leader not a follower!
•Do not believe everything you read or hear, check out things for yourself.
•Remember the importance of family and family values.
•Allow wisdom and prudence to be your main objective, and not just getting a degree.
•Remain teachable and be thirsty for Truth!
•Be open to new experiences and opportunities that The LORD brings your way.
•Maintain a good sense of humor, even the ability to laugh at yourself at times. And do not take yourself so seriously.
•Do not try to be a perfectionist,
if you don’t succeed or you fail in some endeavor, it doesn’t mean that you are a failure! Learn from your mistakes, and don’t dwell upon them. •Do not be impulsive!
•Respect the opinions and the views of others, even though you may not agree with them.
So hopefully one or a combination of these Words of Advice will help you now, and in the days ahead.
