Welcome to issue # 8 our August edition.
Exciting times right now for a lot of the artists who just love performing at local events.
In the UK things are opening up for live concerts, also some here in Canada and United States.
Looks like we are being hit thought with another strain of this virus so please be very careful and follow the procedures outlined in your area for the protection of all.
There are many who have already had their double jab of the vaccine, some still with just one shot and some through medical conditions are not able to get the jab. For those who do not believe in getting the shots and you are able to, please keep in mind it is for your protection and the protection of others. Once you get Covid in any strain it may be too late to get the shots for not only you but for those you may have been in contact with.
I am not here to convince you to get the shot, but as for me I have had the double and will continue to wear a mask in public until I hear that this virus has been eradicated.
One of the artists we featured in 2020 on the Perfect Note lost her battle with Covid. It’s sad to hear and I am sure every one of you has heard of someone you know that may have had it and survived or passed on.
Please don’t take this virus lightly, it (the Virus) doesn’t care of your race or colour or political views it just attacks.
We all want things to get back to normal, playing and going to events all over the world to listen to and enjoy the music we all love. Please be safe, and just do the right thing.
