Becky Denton is a proud Missouri girl – she loves being from the Show-Me State! But, given the choice between cold temps and warm climes, she’ll take the heat anytime. And Missouri can get COLD, y’all.
This song was inspired by one of those frigid times of the year, and Becky and her co-writer, Bill Whyte (also a Missouri native), both had the beach on the brain. Missouri has lots to offer, and lots to love, but being
located in the middle of the U.S., there’s not an ocean for miles.
