The objectives of the Group's capital management are maintain the ability to continue operating in order to generate returns for the shareholders of the Group and benefit other stakeholders. The management has formulation of strategies to support the business operations of the group to be more efficient. and have operating results and a better and stronger financial position as well as setting a dividend policy and capital management to maintain an appropriate capital structure and cost of capital.
35. SIGNIFICANTLEGALCASES
Case 1
A subsidiary filed a civil eviction lawsuit against "Company A" Co., Ltd., under Civil Case No. 667/2022 (Black Case) and No. 219/2023 (Red Case). The court ruled in favor of the subsidiary, ordering "Company A" Co., Ltd. to vacate the disputed premises. The case is currently in the appeal and enforcement stage. The Pattaya provincial court issued arrest warrants for the two authorized directors of "Company A" Co., Ltd., along with all occupants of the plaintiff's property, for failing to comply with the court’s ruling to return the property to the subsidiary. On October 16, 2023, all defendants surrendered to the Pattaya provincial court and requested bail, as recorded in the court proceedings. The defendants requested three months to negotiate the purchase of the disputed property from the subsidiary. If an agreement could not be reached, they agreed to vacate and return the premises immediately. On July 3, 2024, the scheduled court date, it was confirmed that the defendants had removed their belongings and vacated the disputed building. The defendants officially handed over the building keys to the company’s authorized representative in the presence of the court on that date.
