Greater Mt. Moriah Host Baby/Toddler Contest
Greater Mount Moriah Primitive Baptist Church hosted a Baby/Toddler Contest on June 13th at their church on Ne- braska Avenue.
The theme for the evening was “Stepping Into The Future,” and the Master of Ceremony for the evening was Charles Coney, Sr.
The Welcome address was given by Areona Jalbert and a message to the babies was given by Marquise Green.
Dr. B. R. Fulton, Jr.
crowned the winners, and Words of Thanks were given by Edith Shepherd. (PHOTOS BY JULIA JACKSON)

When I Seek Breakthrough, Deliverance, Or Transformation
I worship You, Lord. You are my rock, my fortress, my deliverer, my strength in whom I trust, my shield, my stronghold, and my salvation (Psalm 18:2). You looked down from above and drew me out of many waters (Psalm 18:16) You have brought me into a broad place and You have delivered me because You delighted in me (Psalm 18:19). You are my God and I will praise You (Ex- odus 15:2). Lord, I praise You as my Almighty Deliverer. You have the power to set me free and transform my life. Thank You that You will break down every stronghold that the enemy of my soul has erected in and around me. You will break down every wall that separates me from all You have for me.
The Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. 2 TIMOTHY 4:18
When I Fight Temptation To Walk In The Flesh
Lord, when I am tempted, show me what it is that is drawing me away from you. I praise You in the midst of any temptation I am facing, knowing You have the power to break its hold on me. Help me to walk in the Spirit so that I will not fulfill the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). Lord, I know that it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith (Galatians 2:20). Thank You that You give me strength to resist anything that would entice me away from a close walk with You.
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympa- thize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. HEBREWS 4:15
Lord, I thank You that You are able to lift me out of the realm of the flesh and into the realm of the spirit, out of a condition of emptiness and into one of fulfillment, out of what is worthless and into what is worthwhile. I reachup to You right now and ask You to set me free from anything that tempts me to walk in the flesh and not in the Spirit.
So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the spirit, if indeed the spirit of God dwells in you. ROMANS 8:8-9
