The Port Tampa Bay (PTB) is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors interested in providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for development of a deep water berthing facility at the west end of Port Redwing.
Prospective bidders are required to attend BOTH THE MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE AND THE MANDATORY SITE VISIT scheduled for Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in the PTB Board Room, 1101 Channelside Drive, 1st Floor, Tampa, FL 33602.
The ITB is available through a link on the PTB’s website (www.porttb.com) and the DemandStar System (www.demandstar.com). Interested firms shall submit a completed response to the Port Tampa Bay, 1101 Channelside Drive, 4th Floor, Tampa, FL 33602. Sealed Bids are due by Friday, September 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at which time all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
PTB encourages the use of registered Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms to the greatest extent possible on PTB projects and has a goal of nine percent (9%) SBE participation. PTB will consider SBE participation when evaluating the bids.

Preservation General Contractor for the Preservation of the Historic St. James Episcopal Church
Solicitation No. FY2016-RFQ-04 July 21, 2016
The Tampa Housing Authority (THA) is soliciting Request for Qualification proposals from skilled Preservation General Contractors (PGC) for the preservation of the Historic St. James Episcopal Church located on the Encore redevelopment site. The subject property was constructed in 1921, it is +/-3,900 sq. ft., single building located on Lot 5 on the Encore redevelopment site. The street address is 1202 N. Governor Street, Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida. This is a qualifications-based selection process for a PGC with specific expertise in Historic Preservation, to assist in the development of final bid documents, bid administration, and development of a fixed Gross Maximum Price (GMP) on a two-phased project for the preservation of the St James Church building. The Tampa Housing Authority intends to select one qualified PGC for this project. The duration of the services to be awarded under this contract are outlined in the schedule on page two of this solicitation. The firm with the highest ranking based on the stated evaluation criteria will be recommended for award.
