Surprise 83rd Birthday Celebration For Dr. Margaret Fisher
In February, Dr. Margaret Fisher, retired prin- cipal and educator, celebrated her 83rd birthday. What she didn’t know is there was a surprise being planned for her. She was led to believe that she was going to a Black History Month Dinner. Dr. Fisher was escorted by her 2 best friends, Dee Williams and Ruby
French.
The event was held at the Event Factory and was hosted by her daughter, (Lil) Margaret Fisher. What a surprise!
Lil Margaret was so involved in the preparation for her mother, making sure eveything went well, until
she did not realize there was a surprise in store for her, too. After all the celebration for Dr. Fisher, with ring in hand, L’Gree Bond, Lil Margaret’s boyfriend, got down on one knee before those in attendance and asked her to marry him. She said yes! (Photos by Julia Jackson)
