Any student living in Progress Village for the past 5 years and is in the 9th through 12th grades, may receive $25.00 for each time they made the Honor Roll during this school year. In addition, graduating seniors can receive $100 cash.

City Of Tampa Black History Committee, Inc. Extends Deadline For College Scholarships
The City of Tampa Black History Committee, Inc. (COTBHC) is accepting appli- cations for college scholarships and vocational and technical training scholarships, from African-American high school seniors and young adults in Hillsborough County.
To assist students in pay- ing for the cost of post-sec- ondary education, COTBHC will award scholarships in five different categories.
Since many high school
and young adult students are experiencing financial chal- lenges due to COVID-19, the deadline to apply for scholar- ships has been extended to Thursday, April 15, 2021.
