  Preparing Hot Meals For 150 Citizens
  Meeting Is Thursday, June 10th:
Fraternity Presents Community Zoom, ‘Domestic Violence: No One Should Keep Silent’
  It’s time to step up and speak out against domestic violence and the men of the Tampa Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi want to lead the charge.
“Domestic Violence: No One Should Keep Silent” will be the topic for the chapter’s monthly Now You Know series. The virtual townhall forum will be held Thursday, June 10th, on the Zoom platform at 7 p. m. Kayden Rodriguez, a prevention team advocate, will lead the discussion.

In the state of Florida, domestic violence is defined as any assault, battery, sexual as- sault, sexual battery, stalking, kidnapping, false imprisonment, or any criminal offense resulting in injury or death of one family or household member by another family or household member.

      On Saturday, May 22nd, Harrison Ross, Freddy McRae, Annie Phyall and Shandale Terrell (shown with the dinners) volunteered their time, support and assistance to prepare cooked dinners over the past weekend. They loaded the dinners into their vehicles and de- livered them to over 150 citizens in need in the Lakeland, Florida community.
  Guest Speaker At Lakeland’s Dream Center
  On Tuesday, May 18th, the Executive Director of the RISK Club Program, Jeffrey Williams, left, invited Dr. Shandale Terrell to be a guest speaker for the youth at the Dream Center in Lakeland, Florida. Dr. Terrell spoke to the youth about, serving on boards and commit- tees in the local, the State of Florida and national level.
Dr. Terrell also spoke to the youth about community service work, building good relationships with citizens in the community and being productive citizens in our society. The RISK Club Program is defined as: (Reality Instills Skillful Knowledge), mentoring youth to be suc- cessful in institutions of higher education, career success and being successful in life.
