On Saturday, April 4th, Hot Steppaz Entertainment, Incorporated and Boutique will be hosting its first an- nual Easter egg hunt with the theme, “Easter Egg-A- Doodle-Doo.”
Hot Steppaz Entertain- ment and Boutique founder, Sasha Lundy, said the theme was her young daugh- ter’s idea, and she decided to stick with it.
“To better serve the com- munity I call home, I decided to have the Easter Egg Hunt in the parking lot of the Hall of Fame Banquet Hall, 11106 North 30th Street. It will begin at noon and end at 4 p. m.
“The event will feature an Easter bunny character for the kids and other treats like bouncers and slides. There will also be free food and beverages, and the entire
SASHA LUNDY
community is involved.” Lundy said this is her way of giving back to the community she’s been a part
of for the past two years. “It’s always in my heart to do something for the kids, so I am planning other events for the summer to give them something positive to do, and keep them off the
streets.
“I only ask that the par-
ents stay with their children for the Easter Egg Hunt.”
Former Superintendent MaryEllen Elia was at the City Council Chambers and posed with the “Miss Blake” contestants.
The contestants also toured the Tampa Police Department Headquarters downtown and were introduced to Police Chief Jane Castor, center.
