JESSE JACKSON, JR. CHICAGO—Former Rep.

Fresh off his presidential an- nouncement, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas made another big deci- sion Tuesday: he is signing up for Obamacare, the health in- surance program that he vows to scrap if elected to the White House.
Mr. Cruz told CNN that he will be joining the millions of others to receive health cover- age under the law now that his wife, Heidi, has decided to take unpaid leave from her job at Goldman Sachs so she can join him on the campaign trail, leav- ing them without health cover- age.
Mr. Cruz on Monday be- came the first high-profile can- didate to enter the 2016 presidential race during a speech at Liberty University, which landed on the five-year anniversary of Obamacare, which he once again pledged to kill.

Presidential Bid; Some Want To See Birth Certificate
“The View” ladies had a lot to say about the first official presidential candidate, Ted Cruz, on Monday when a guest co-host called for a birther movement to haunt the Canadian-born Republican’s campaign.
“He was not born in Amer- ica, he was born in Canada, so how can he run for president?” comedian Michelle Williams said. “I’m a Ted Cruz birther — I want to see the birth certificate.”
Co-host Rosie Perez crit- icized the Texas senator for denying climate change and agreed with California Gover- nor Jerry Brown’s criticism of Cruz as being unfit for the role of president during a

Whoopi Goldberg sug- gested it’s not fun being on the receiving end of the birther movement, like President Obama has been, and chimed in: “I want to see your birth certificate.” Cruz was a key mouthpiece calling for Presi- dent Obama’s birth certifi- cate.
Report Claims: Israel Spied On Nuclear Talks Between Iran And U.S.
Israel obtained sensitive in- formation about the nuclear talks between Iran and the United States and turned it over to members of Congress, the Wall Street Journal is re- porting. The insider details came from “confidential” brief- ings from U.S. officials as well as from “informants, diplo- matic contacts in Europe and eavesdropping,” the paper said.
Citing “current and former officials,” the paper said the “spying operation was part of a b roader campaign by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to penetrate the negotiations and then help build a case against the emerging terms of the deal.
While addressing members of the media Tuesday, House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) said he was "baffled" by a report alleging Israel shared intelligence on the U.S. and Iran with members of Congress. (AP)
The Journal, in its Tuesday edition, reported the “espi- onage” did not concern the White House “as much as Is- rael’s sharing of inside infor- mation with U.S. lawmakers and others to drain support” for a possible deal with Iran to

rein in Tehran’s nuclear pro- gram in exchange for easing of international sanctions.
The White House learned of the operation, the paper re- ported, when U.S. intelligence agencies “intercepted commu- nications among Israeli offi- cials that carried details the U.S. believed could have come only from access to the confi- dential talks, officials briefed on the matter said.”
Israel denied the charges, according to the Journal, which quoted a “senior official” in Netanyahu’s office calling the allegations “utterly false.”
But the Journal said its story was based on interviews with “more than a dozen” offi- cials, including Israeli diplo- mats, intelligence officials and lawmakers.
The Washington Redskins’ name is commercial speech and isn’t the kind of free ex- pression protected by the First Amendment, the Obama ad- ministration told a federal court this week in defending a ruling that has stripped the football team of trademark protections.
The team’s name itself is not at stake, but if the trade- mark is canceled, the name becomes less valuable because the owners would struggle to enforce their trademark against anyone who wanted to use the name or Indian logo on their own merchandise.
In a filing Monday, the Justice Department defended the Trademark Trial and Ap- peal Board’s decision last year to strip the team of protec-
