All I Want For Christmas Is...

With so much going on today, it’s hard to focus on any- thing specific you’d want for Christmas.
A few people in the area were contacted and asked, “All I Want For Christmas Is...” This is what they had to say.
Michelle Walker: “What I want is to spend time with my grandchildren. I look forward to that every year. I also want some time to myself or just family time.
“I work constantly and my husband asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I told him nothing. I like to vacation.”
Facunda Arenas: “All I want for Christmas is peace on earth. I want the violence to stop, and the birth of babies by young girls who haven’t fin- ished growing up themselves.
“The Black-on-Black vio- lence, and families raising up
against each other must end. I just want to spend time with my family and for all of us to get along with each other.”
Angela Pearson: “After the loss of my son, Levi, I wish I could be with him once again. What I’d love for Christmas is to have never had that horrible day happen.
“There has been so much emptiness inside me since my son was murdered, and I’ve tried so many things to fill that void. So, all I really want for Christmas is the people who killed my son to be brought to justice.”
Cynthia Few: “All I want for Christmas is peace in the world and for everyone to come
together. I want to see the fel- lowship among people that seemed to have disappeared.
“Every year I pray for love, peace and forgiveness. I think that will cure a lot of ills. Just read the Bible and follow that doctrine. It has worked for so many people and there’s no reason it can’t continue to work.”
Darla Saunders: “All I want for Christmas is for peo- ple to have joy and peace in their hearts. I’d love to see peo- ple just get along like they used to and not have so much hate in their hearts.
“I want justice for families throughout the world, and for those who have committed evil to be held accountable.”
