Tom Brady, Mike Edwards Spark Tampa Bay's Big Win; Face Rams Sunday
Sean Payton, Jameis
The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers built a big first-half lead and overcame a sluggish third quarter Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, pulling away for a 48-25 victory in Week 2.
Tom Brady threw four of his five touchdown passes in the first half, while Mike Ed- wards found the end zone with back-to-back pick-sixes to help the Bucs run away from their NFC South rivals in the fourth quarter.

either of those goals.
“Our protection plan
wasn’t good,” Payton added. “It had nothing to do with us being short-handed.”
The good news is that the entire coaching staff is vacci- nated and should be back to full strength sooner rather than later. McCoy avoided a three-game stint on injured reserve, so he should return soon, too. We’ll just have to hope the offense can get back up to speed in the meantime.

Bobby Wagner had 13 tackles in last week’s victory over the Colts. The Seattle Seahawks linebacker left that game with a much better feel- ing than he did Sunday when he set a franchise record with 20 in an overtime loss to the Titans.
“It’s cool, but we lost, so it doesn’t really matter,” Wag- ner said.
The Seahawks, though, al- lowed 532 yards Sunday, in- cluding 182 rushing yards by

Derrick Henry. It tied for the most rushing yards the Seahawks have allowed to a running back in a game under Pete Carroll.

Jameis Winston spent a lot of his Sunday afternoon running for cover against a tenacious Carolina Panthers pass rush, which prevented the New Orleans Saints of- fense from doing almost anything productive. After the game finished with a dis- appointing 26-7 final tally, both Winston and Saints coach Sean Payton identi- fied the same problem — miscommunication up front.
“I have to take responsi- bility for communicating with the offensive line,” Winston said. “Got to get us in better protections. Just communicate better out there.”
The blocking assign- ments weren’t up to snuff, and the offense as a whole suffered for it. New Orleans is built for the big men in the trenches to pave running lanes for Alvin Kamara and buy time for a subpar wide receivers corps to get open downfield. They weren’t able to accomplish

Lamar Jackson Had Great Response To John Harbaugh 4th Down Question; Plays Lions Sunday
LAMAR JACKSON Lamar Jackson had a
great response after being asked by John Harbaugh about a key fourth down late on Sunday night.
Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens were leading 36-35 and looked like they might surrender their lead to Kansas City. But the Chiefs lost a fum- ble, giving the ball back to the Ravens.
Baltimore moved it nine yards and was facing a deci- sion on 4th-and-1. Harbaugh asked Jackson if they should go for it or punt, and Jackson didn’t hesitate. The Ravens went for it and Jackson con- verted on a quarterback run, clinching the win.
Jackson was asked after the game about the bold call and what he was thinking.
“Man, no matter what: get that first down. Coach asked me, ‘should we go for it?’ I said, ‘hell ya! Just like Seattle two years ago, we had to get it,” Jackson told NBC’s Michele Tafoya.

Teddy Bridgewater Has
Denver Broncos 2-0
Denver Broncos quarter- back Teddy Bridgewater is sometimes referred to by teammates as "Teddy B," but after leading the Broncos to a 2-0 start for the first time since 2016, he might just be Teddy Z.
As in Teddy Zen. Be- cause Bridgewater, whom the Broncos acquired in a trade with the Carolina Pan- thers the day before the April draft opened, has quickly and decisively won over his team- mates and coaches with an unflappable demeanor, high- end preparation and a grow- ing pile of completions that have the Broncos closing out drives with touchdowns.

cially at quarterback, and he has it -- it's just in his DNA," said Broncos coach Vic Fan- gio after a 23-13 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. "I'd like to tell you we have coached that into him, but we didn't. We got it when we signed him, that's who he is."
The Broncos play the (0- 2) New York Jets Sunday at 4:05 p.m.
