As 2019 ends, the Tampa Chapter of Jack and Jill cele- brates another successful year of friendship and service. The
New Year, 2020 promises to be the best year yet for the youngsters and their Moth- ers. The club recently held its last service endeavor for 2019 and is taking a short Christ- mas break as they gear up for
even more service projects and fun activities next year.
Recently, the chapter had its last activity of 2019. The 10th annual Angel Tree event in partnership with Abe Brown Ministries served 53
underprivileged children. The children were given out- fits, toys, and gift cards to help them celebrate the sea- son. The Jack and Jill chil- dren entertained the Angel children with songs and read-
ings, and following a delicious lunch, shared ice cream treats.
According to President Dianna Allen-Quin, all of the members of the club, “Want to spread joy to kids who are in unfortunate cir- cumstances.”
Metropolitan Ministries provided the food and each of the Jack and Jill children from the oldest to the youngest, happily served everyone. Afterwards, the Jack and Jill kids got together to clean up.”
The Tampa Chapter is looking forward to 2020 and reaching new heights of serv- ice and friendship.
