MR. ROOSEVELT BUD PITTS, JR.
The book of life opened for Roosevelt Bud Pitts, Jr. on Feb- ruary 7, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY. The book of his life closed on June 29, 2020.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2020, at 11 a. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, FL 33610, Rev. Leon Strong, officiat- ing.
He attended the schools of Kings County. Roosevelt at- tended a State University in Cali- fornia and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. He also obtained a CDL and fell in love with driving trucks, which turned into his life-long career. He was employed at Kenworth Trucking Company for 18 years and held his CDLs for 48 years.
On Monday, June 29, 2020 Roosevelt transitioned to eternal rest with the Lord as he slept away peacefully to end his jour- ney here.
Roosevelt was preceded in death by: his father, Roosevelt B. Pitts, Sr., and mother, Harriet Louise Anderson Pitts.
Upon his departure he leaves to cherish wonderful memories that will live forever within the hearts of his family and friends: companion, Lyndranetta Everett; sons, Roosevelt Bud Pitts, III, Nynchoya Pitts, and Shawnee Pitts, all of Tampa; grandchil- dren, Nynchoya Pitts, Nyntorious Pitts, Nynlisayha Pitts, JarVeil Johnson, Andrea Pitts, and An- drew Pitts; stepchildren, Ronald Everett, Jr. (Leah) and Sheneta Everett-Strong (Leon); step- grands, Akilah (Brian), Esha, Kaliyha, Erykah, Melissa, Isaiah, and Shanel; step-great-grands, Naomi, Nevaeh, and Noah; a host of cousins, in-laws, friends, and extended family.
Family and friends who are invited by invitation list must practice social distancing. Face covering/masks are required be- fore entering the funeral home.

MR. WILLIE JAMES (‘JACK’) BROWN, JR.
Mr. Willie James Brown, Jr. was born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Willie James Brown, Sr. and Annette Brown on August 22, 1979. Willie, AKA “Jack,” at- tended the public schools in the city of Philadelphia, PA and in the city of Tampa, FL, where he resided at the time of his death.
Jack was an extraordinary young man that was full of life. At his time of passing Jack was em- ployed with Staffsouce. He loved to dress and had exquisite taste when it came to his clothing.
Willie also loved to dance and was very respectful to all. To know him was to love him.
“Jack” at the age of 40 transi- tioned from his Earthly life into Eternity on Wednesday July 1, 2020. He was preceded in death by: his father Willie James Brown, Sr.; grandfather, James Cheely, Sr.; two aunts, Jenetta Brown, and Cheryl Palmer.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: mother, Annette Brown his (maternal) grandmother Mamie Cheely and (paternal) grand- mother, Geraldine Brown; five children: two daughters, Breanna Brown and Tkai Brown; three sons, Willie James Brown, III, D’Kevis Brown, and JaQuan Brown; one brother, Larry Brown (Tierra); four sisters, Sharica Brown (Robert), Paulette Brown, Shundra Brown, Tamika Brown; three grandchildren, Suni and Samaji Bell and Ty’Leria Brown; four nieces, Daiyah, Kayla, Ja’Kya and Chelsea; four nephews, Imir, Naazhim, Kaseem, Tyrell; three special cousins/sisters, Tasha, Veronica, Michelle; six uncles, James Cheely, Jr., Zachary Young, John Young (Linda) William Brown, James Brown, Larry Brown; one aunt Marlene Carroll and a host of loving and caring family members and friends.
Visitation for "Jack" will be Friday, July 10, 2020, from 5-7 P. M. at the Allen Temple A. M. E. Church, 2101 Lowe St., Tampa.
Funeral services will be Sat., July 11, 2020, One Hour Past Noon also at the Church. Inter- ment will follow at the Rest Haven Cemetery.
Funeral rites are entrusted to the Holmes Funeral Directors, Haines City, FL.

MR. TYRONE ROSCOE LOTT
Mr. Tyrone Roscoe Lott, who passed away on June 26, 2020, at a local hospital was born and raised in Tampa, Florida on January 29, 1955 to Roscoe Lott and Agnes Lott Gary. He was educated in Hills- borough County Public Schools.
Tyrone devoted his life at an early age to Christ. He never met a stranger and had his way of mak- ing everyone laugh. Tyrone was the youngest boy of six siblings.
He was preceded in death by: his parents and a brother, Jerome Lott.
He leaves to cherish his fondest memories: brothers, Ernest Williams and Raymond Lott; sis- ters, Yvonne Lott Jones, Viola Gary and Joe, and Diana Finley; devoted friend, Joyce Phillips; devoted nieces, Yushica Gary, Tracy Jones and India Gary; devoted nephews, Darrin Lott, Shantwann Wilson and wife, Sakari and Sharron Gary; a host of great nieces and nephews, all of whom live in Tampa, Florida and his god par- ents, Jojoe and Gloria Castillo, whom he loved as if they were his own parents.
Visitation will be Friday, July 10, 2020, from 6-8 p. m. at In- tegrity Funeral Services. All in at- tendance are REQUIRED to wear a facial mask covering.

A Celebration of Life for Ronda Latricia Holder-Reed, who passed away at a local hospital on June 22, 2020, will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at 2 p. m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Av- enue, Tampa, Florida 33605, with Rev. Andrew Holder, officiating.
Ronda Latricia Holder-Reed was born to Patricia Ann Holder and Theodore Ashely on October 30, 1976. She was educated in the schools of Hillsborough County, and was a Med Tech by trade.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, grandparents, Howard Holder, Sr., aka “Boss,” and grandmother, Louise Holder; nephew, Tolando Holder, AKA “Nap Man,” a niece, Okia Parker, and a brother-in-law, Virone Di- vine.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ory: husband, Aaron Reed; the fa- thers of her children prior to this marriage, her ex- husband, James Mond, Sr., and Benjamin Guy. MR. EDWIN G. (‘BROTHER’) ARTEST, JR.
Mr. Edwin G. “Brother” Artest, Jr. passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020. A Graveside Service will be conducted Saturday, July 11th, at 11 a. m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, with Pastor Donald Lott, officiating. In- terment will follow.
Edwin G. Artest, Jr., was born the only son, and second child, of the late Edwin G. Artest, Sr., and the late Jessie M. Artest. He was the brother of the late Saralee Ed- wina Artest, the uncle of the late Russell Minor Cato, III, as well as the uncle-in-law to the late Dawn Cato.
A native of Tampa, Mr. Artest or, affectionately known as “Brother” or “Uncle Bro,” was edu- cated in the public schools of Hills- borough County and was a graduate of Middleton High School. He continued his educa- tion and earned his Bachelor’s de- gree at Morehouse College and Master’s degree at Howard Univer- sity. As an avid continuous learner, he educated himself in various fields, taking courses in Radio Services as well as obtaining his pilot’s license, gaining the ability to fly a private plane.
His affiliations include: Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, ABA Tampa Bridge Club, and for- merly of the ACBL North Tampa Bridge Club.
“Brother” was employed as a Microbiologist for Menon Founda- tion Laboratory and NASA Space Center. Later in life, he was the president of the Artest Mortgage & Invest Company.
He leaves to cherish the mem- ories of his life: grand-nephew, Tyrus R. Cato and wife, Kimberly; grandnieces, B’Neika Cato Mc- Cleary and husband, LaVander, Amale Cato, Amira Cato, and Cyd- ney Dodson; niece-in-law, Saida Kouya; 3 great-great grand- nephews; 4 great- great-grand- nieces; Artest and Larry family members, numerous cousins, and great cousins.
The Visitation will be held Thursday, July 9 from 3 to 7 p. m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue. We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines.
