For Something More
The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers, coming off of a win over the Arizona Cardinals, laid an egg at home at Ray- mond James Stadium with a 34-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Bucs have now been swept by the Saints this season and now fall to 3-7 on the season as it is now time to move on to the offseason and 2020. Jameis Winston and Mike Evans were off all day, and frustration is obvi- ously starting to boil over.
The Buccaneers had no offensive balance, running the ball just eight times; this includes two last minute goal line carries and two scram- bles by quarterback Jameis Winston. Ronald Jones had just four carries on the day for 13 yards on the day, and added two catches for a yard as well.
Jameis Winston threw four picks on the day, and while the first one was not his fault as tight end O.J. Howard managed to some- how bobble a pass around his back, the other three were flat out bad reads and bad throws; he is now up to 18 in- terceptions on the season in

Another week, another Ravens win and another sparkling performance by Lamar Jackson means it is time for another round of MVP discussions about the Baltimore quarterback.
Safety Earl Thomas made his support for Jack- son known earlier this month and running back Mark Ingram did the hon- ors on Sunday. Ingram called Jackson the “MVP frontrunner” while doing some pre-press conference hype work for his teammate.
Jackson did not keep the cheerleading going once he hit the podium.
“I’m all about winning,” Jackson said, via PennLive.com. “I’m glad [In- gram] feels that way, but I’m trying to get something even more.”

Ingram said that Jack- son’s been “one-upping himself each week” and going 17-of-24 for 222 yards and four touchdowns while also running nine times for 86 yards in the 41-7 win over the Texans certainly quali- fies. Should Jackson keep that ball rolling, his Ravens teammates will have plenty of company beating the drum for Jackson’s MVP chances.
just 10 games. Winston also finished with 313 yards pass- ing and two touchdowns on 30-for-51 passing.
Tight end Cameron Brate led the team in receiv- ing with 10 catches for 73 yards on 14 targets from Winston. The Buccaneers also got good production out of rookie wide receiver Scotty Miller, who finished the game with 71 yards on four catches and nearly had his first career touchdown. Mike Evans finished the game with four catches for 69 yards, and could be seen vis- ibly angry after Winston was intercepted on a game- sealing goal line interception. His counterpart Chris God-
win finished the game with 47 yards and a touchdown on three catches as well.
Jameis Winston Says Ankle Will Be Fine For Next Week
JAMEIS WINSTON
Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston took 12 hits from Saints pass rushers over the course of Sunday’s 34-17 loss and he was limping after one of them in the fourth quar-
ter.Winston rolled his ankle on the play and head coach Bruce Arians called the in- jury a sprain after the game. Arians said that backup Ryan Griffin was warming up on the sideline, but didn’t go in be- cause Winston said he was able to protect himself on the field. In hindsight, Arians said Winston should have come out of the game.
In his own press confer- ence, Winston said he be- lieves his ankle will be fine in time for next week’s game against the Falcons. Winston also said he didn’t think it af- fected his play.
Winston was 30-of-51 for 313 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions on the day. He’s now thrown 18 intercep- tions this season, which ties his career-high for a single year.
Colin Kaepernick's Workout Sparks War Of Words Between Stephen A. Smith, Eric Reid
Sports personality Stephen A. Smith, one of the biggest stars at ESPN, and Eric Reid, the Carolina Panthers safety, had a war of words on the Internet over the weekend after the San Francisco 49ers ex-quarter- back Colin Kaepernick held a workout for NFL teams Saturday.
Smith posted a three- minute video criticizing Kaepernick for calling an audible less than an hour be- fore he was scheduled to work out for 25 NFL teams.
The ESPN star said Kaepernick had no interest in playing in the NFL, which got a digital clapback from Reid, who played with Kaepernick when they were with the San Francisco 49ers and knelt with him during the "Star-Spangled Banner."
Reid, who called the showcase a “PR stunt,” tweeted back, tagging Smith’s original post: “Tap dancing for the NFL like... Da-- straight Colin wants to control the narrative! He

supposed to trust the organi- zation that blackballed him and has done absolutely nothing in good faith??? Born on Tuesday, just not last Tuesday.”
Smith then took the fight to Instagram, saying: “The more you talk, the more ridiculous you sound, @e_reid35. Actually, it’s worse than I thought since you’re the one tweeting at me hours before a da-- game. And speaking of the game, weren’t you in Atlanta in at- tendance for Kaepernick’s workout yesterday — before having to leave EARLY to play for a team in a league you’re feeling so oppressed by? Wasn’t that you? Just asking!”
