Tony Terry Joins Summer Breeze Music Festival

Williams has garnered quite the lengthy arrest record in the past year.
His latest arrest took place over the weekend, after he al- legedly attacked and punched a woman at a restaurant in Cali- fornia.
It was reported that the alleged attack took place on a restaurant worker at the Sportsmen’s Lodge restaurant in Sherman Oaks, California for an unknown rea- son. Williams’ attack on the woman is said to have left her with visible injuries.
Following the woman’s request that Williams be arrested, he was taken into custody for mis- demeanor battery. Hours after being taken into custody, the co- median was released on $20,000 bail.
This year alone, Williams has been arrested a handful of times.
Rapper Shoots Self In Face For Video
Rapper Kasper Knight shot himself in the face and put it on Facebook.
Aspiring rapper Kasper Knight took matters into his own hands when he was unable to find a music video director willing to film him shooting him- self in the face.
Instead, he filmed the grisly scene on his own and uploaded it to Facebook.
In a description for the video, Knight revealed that he has been shot several times before, and added that the shot he took to the face “was really nothing.”
Most recently, Knight, who also goes by the name “Kasper Tha Phantom,” dropped his “All Lives Matter LOL” music video on YouTube.

Lil Wayne decided he’d had enough after performing four songs at the High Times Med- ical Concentrates Cup in San Bernardino, California on Sat- urday (July 23).
As the Saturday night head- liner, Wayne was scheduled to play for an hour, but left the stage abruptly after performing for around 10 minutes saying, “Don’t you ever, ever, ever ask me to do this again.”
Also of note, he was wearing what appeared to be a hand- made “F... Cash Money” hat, a reference to the label he’s been in verbal and legal disputes with over the release of his music.

Michael B. Jordan And Lupita Nyong’o ‘Black Panther’ Roles Revealed

‘Selma’ Director’s Netflix
It was no surprise when Michael B. Jordan was named to be in the upcoming Black Panther movie. He has worked with the film’s direc- tor, Ryan Coogler, for multi- ple projects including Fruitvale Station and last year’s Creed.
Jordan’s role in the Marvel film was revealed at San Diego’s Comic-Con over the weekend. He will play Erik Killmonger, Black Pan- ther’s nemesis, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Chadwick Boseman is to continue his role as Black Panther, who is also known as King T’Challa, after the character appeared in Captain America: Civil War.
Lupita Nyong’o is to por- tray Nakia, a woman from a rival village who serves as a bodyguard and potential wife for Black Panther. She later turns into the villainess Mal- ice. In 2014, Nyong’o won the Academy Award for Best Sup- porting Actress for her work in 12 Years a Slave.

Opens New York Film Festival
Ava DuVernay’s upcom- ing Netflix documentary, “The 13th” will open the 2016 New York Film Festival. Notably, the award-winning director’s documentary will be first non- fiction film to open the NYFF in its 54-year run.
“The 13th” explores the high rate of incarceration of blacks in America, drawing its name from the 13th amendment of the United States Constitution which declares “neither slav- ery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their ju- risdiction.”
In an interview with The New York Times, DuVernay, who directed Selma and the upcoming OWN series Queen Sugar, spoke about what mo- tivated her to create “The 13th.”

The New York Film Festival will run from September 30th through October 18th. “The 13th” will be released by Net- flix on October 7th, 2016.
Rihanna To Play Key Character In ‘Bates Motel’ Final Season Series
Janet Leigh played the role of Marion in the 1960’s movie that ‘Bates Motel’ is based on. Rihanna will be the modern day Marion on the cable series.
Rihanna will retake the role of one of the most famous murder victims in film history.
With a video announcement at Comic-Con in San Diego on Friday (July 22), the pop singer revealed that she will be playing Marion Crane in the upcoming final fifth season of “Bates Motel,” the A&E pre- quel to Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 film Psycho.
“I’m about to check into the Bates Motel very soon and guess what else? Guess who’s
playing Marion?” she said in a short clip. Rihanna will re- take the role of one of the most famous murder victims in film history.
The role was originally played by Janet Leigh in the horror classic. In it, she is stabbed to death in the shower to the tune of screeching vio- lins. She nabbed a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomina- tion for Best Supporting Oscar for the film.
