MRS. IVY JEAN DUNCAN-THOMPSON
Mrs. Ivy Jean Duncan-Thomp- son of Tampa, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Fu- neral Services will be conducted on Saturday May 26, at 2 p. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with James Thornton, officiating.
Ivy Jean was a lifelong native of Tampa, FL. She attended H. B. Plant High School and received a PCT Certification from Florida Ca- reer College. Ivy took pride in working and taking care of her family, especially her grandchil- dren.
Ivy will continue to live through her loving and caring family: husband, Earl V. Thomp- son, Sr.; children, Lamar Duncan, Dackerett Duncan (Marie), Justin Duncan (Ashley), Cicely Thomp- son (Brittne), Brenton Duncan, Earl Thompson, Jr., Shanetria Thompson, Denetria Thompson and Cynthia Thompson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, May 25, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

Your task on Earth was completed and your reward was to go home to God. So, celebrate and enjoy your spe- cial day.

her health began to fail; and for many years, she was the Minister of Music for various churches in Tampa, Thonotosassa, St. Peters- burg and West Palm Beach. She also participated in the Florida Mass Choir, in her young adult years.
Pastor Adams was truly blessed by God to expound upon the Word of God with great power and au- thority sharing a prophetic word from the Lord. She was also a gifted musician and singer who could stir, ignite and lift the spirits of those listening in the services. While in Tampa, she also worked in the Hillsborough County School System and later when she and her husband moved to Rivera Beach, she worked at R. J. Hendley Chris- tian Academy.
Menyan was also a licensed cosmetologist, nail technician and had the gift of floral arranging.
Menyan was preceded in death by her father, Lemuel R. Andrews,
Jr.
She leaves to treasure precious
memories of her with a devoted husband of 26 years, Anthony, Sr.; two loving children, Evelyna John- son and Anthony, II; her caring mother, Evelyna Richardson; two beloved brothers, Lemuel An- drews, III (Beverly) and Howard Andrews; one loyal sister, Sharon Andrews Wilson (Leon); one god- son, Leon Wilson, Jr.; five aunts, E. Vernell Richardson, Evangeline Best, Carol Richardson, Jacqueline Andrews, Cynthia Andrews; step- daughter, Tracey Adams; four sis- ters-in-law, Ann Iles (Kernaa), Helen Smith (Charles), Kathy Adams, Jeri Tadoada; her loving cousins, nieces and nephews, and a host of sorrowing relatives and friends.
Menyan’s love of music, min- istry, and mankind overflowed into the lives of everyone she encoun- tered and was evident in her most often quoted mantra, “I love you and there isn’t anything you can do about it.”
She leaves a remarkable legacy of courage, hard work, kindness, and achievement and many lives were changed by her witness, a wit- ness that will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 p. m., on Friday, May 25, 2018, at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 North 29th Street. Her family will receive friendsfrom7-8p.m.inthe chapel.

PASTOR MENYAN ANDREWS ADAMS
A Celebration of Life Service for Pastor Menyan Andrews Adams, who transitioned peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11 a. m. at the St. John Pro- gressive Missionary Baptist Church, 2504 Chipco Street, Rev- erend Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Sr., Pastor; Pastor Stephen Nunn, offi- ciating and Bishop Joseph Norfleet, eulogist.
Interment will be held on Tues- day, May 29, 2018 at the Florida Na- tional Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
Pastor Adams was born on Feb- ruary 13, 1954, to the late Brother Lemuel Raymond Andrews, Jr. and Mother Evelyna Richardson. A Tampa native, Menyan graduated from Middleton High School in 1971. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Interfaith Univer- sity in Macon, Georgia in 2006.
She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior when she was six years old and even at this young age, she boldly made her profession of faith. As a teenager, she began speaking in Oratorical Contests, captivating the audience with her recitations.
She continued her life’s journey as a faithful spiritual warrior, renowned musician, anointed singer, gifted preacher, teacher, motivator and pastor. She was li- censed as a gospel Minister in 1996 under the leadership of Bishop Walter Oshea Granger, Mt. Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church, Rivera Beach; ordained as an Elder in July 2002 under the leadership of Bishop Joseph Norfleet, Faith Cen- ter, COGIC, Meridan, CT. Pastor Adams served as the founder and pastor of the New Dimensions of Faith Fellowship for 10 years until

Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Laura Terrell Fuller, 89, who passed at her home on May 19, 2018 after a short illness, will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11 a. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. Louis Jones, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Laura was preceded in death by: her parents, her son, Terrell “Terry” Fuller and her brother, Clarence Terrell, Jr.
She leaves: a loving and devoted husband of 67 years, Richard “Fred” Fuller; 2 children, Renee Johnson and husband, Augustus and Richard Fuller, Jr. “Ricky and wife, Bernes- tine; one grandson, Delton Fuller and wife, Nicole; one granddaugh- ter, Erinn Cottman and husband, Rasheed; 5 great grandchildren, Do- minique, Haleima, Desiree, Delton, Jr. and Drexel and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Laura Terrell Fuller was the daughter of the late Mae Watson Terrell and Clarence Terrell, Sr. Laura was reared in Ocala, Florida and Tampa, Florida. She graduated from Howard Academy High School before attending Grady School of Nursing in Atlanta, Georgia. Mrs. Fuller served as a nurse for Dr. A. L. Lewis for many years before becom- ing employed by the State of Florida until her retirement. Laura’s civic involvement was an important part of her life. She was a member of Las Damas Social and Civic Club, East Tampa Business and Civic Associa- tion, Jackson Heights NFL Youth Education Advisory Board; she served on the City of Tampa Code Enforcement Board and the Parks and Recreation Board. Laura was a loving and gracious person who will be greatly missed.

Funeral service for Ms. Yash- meca Sherniclous Latrica Hudson, “Meca,” who passed away on May 12, 2018, will be held on Saturday May 26, 2018, at 2 p. m. at Exciting Faith Alive, 5705 E. 32nd Avenue, Tampa, Florida, with Pastor Anto- nio R. Hawkins, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Williams; grandmothers, Obdulia Sastre Wiliams, Leona Hudson and nephew, Jermaine Hudson.
Yashmeca is survived by: her two sons, LaDarius Hudson and Cedrick Carols; daughter, Tiahi- rah Hudson; two grandchildren, Chase Grant and Au’Moni Carols; mother, Rachel Lee Hudson; sis- ters, Delphine Hudson (Fred), Erica Aydelotte; aunts, Pauline Johnson-Williams of Los Angeles, CA and Linda Williams of Tampa, Florida; uncles, Clarence Williams (Beatrice) and Anthony Williams (Alice); nieces, Keilah Hudson, Chantel Jenkins, Myeshia Stafford-Diaz (Angel), Eleasah Ay- delotte; nephews, Javaris Minott, Artavis Tindle, Roderick Tindle, John Tyler, IV, Shane Hunter, James Aydelotte; a host of cousins; goddaughter, Ebony Hughes; best friends, Donna Crawley-Bunkely (Tyrone), Tranda Wimbely and other rela- tives and friends.
Yashmeca Sherniclous Latrica Hudson, “Meca,” was the third child born on April 5, 1974, in Tampa, Florida, to the parentage of Rachel Lee Hudson and the late Joseph Michael Williams. Ms. Hudson attended the public schools of Hillsborough County. Yashmeca accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age at Community Holiness Church of God For All People. She was an employee at University Of South Florida for many years, where she absolutely loved feeding the stu- dents.
Yashmeca will be missed by all of her loved ones and she now joins the ranks with her deceased loved ones.
There will be a viewing at Wil- son Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 5 – 8 p. m.
