Mayor To Host Second New Vendor Certification Tour

Last month, Mayor Jane Cas- tor introduced the Vendor Certifi- cation Tour. The first event was held at the Cyrus Green Community Center on July 13th.
On Saturday, August 24th, the second event will take place at Barksdale Active Older Adult Cen- ter, 1801 North Lincoln Avenue, Tampa 33607, from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. During the event, City of Tampa staff members from the Pur- chasing Department and the Minor- ity and Small Business Development Office will visit neigh- borhoods to certify and/or register companies with the City of Tampa.

  Middleton Class Of 1960 Announces Meeting
The Middleton High School Class of 1960 will have Class Meeting on Sat- urday 17 August 2019, at 3 P. M. The meeting will be held at Betty’s Place, 2609 E. Chipco St., Tampa.
The agenda consist of preparation for the 2020 Reunion, selecting a chair- person/sponsor, assigning personnel to act as hosts for the different activities for the Reunion and preparing for the trip to the African American Museum in Washington, D. C.
