Eddie Murphy Stops Mel B From Discussing His Sex Game In Her New Book With Legal Gag
Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta
cast member Stevie J, born Steven Jordan, reportedly did not pay Georgia taxes from 2012 through 2014. Ac- cording to the Atlanta Jour- nal Constitution, the music producer was hit with two federal liens by the state in the amount of $110,000.
Documents obtained by the site say that Jordan ini- tially owed $8,728 in 2012, which increased by a little less than $9,000 due to interest and penalty fees. The second lien, totaling $92,603.43, combines the taxes and

penalties owed for 2013 and 2014.
With her love life in per- spective, Mel B is on the verge of releasing her new au- tobiography and thanks to legal gag, she has been blocked from discussing de- tails about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Eddie Murphy.
According to sources, she will face a hefty payout if she discusses their relationship in the book.
Titled Brutally Honest, the Spice Girl star chroni- cles her most toxic public re- lations at most, about the men in her life. Mel B and Eddie Murphy dated back in 2006 and welcomed a baby girl named Angel the following year, the same year of their breakup. Rumors

surrounding their bond’s de- mise range from infidelity to lack of interest.
In 2007, the Coming to America actor placed a gag order upon the Scary Spice blocking her from discussing details about their relation-
ship. The court order was made under the condition Murphy takes a paternity test in the case of Angel, due to his alleged denial of the child. There was also a finan- cial deal in place for Mel’s secrecy through their lawyers.
The legal team of the book’s publishers is report- edly looking into ways around the controversial topic as the British singer has been restrained from dis- cussing any personal or fi- nancial aspects of Murphy’s sex life. Details about her rocky relationship with her ex-husband Stephen Bela- fonte will reportedly have a chapter, but he has appar- ently threatened to sue her.
Kendrick Lamar Guest-Starred On ‘Power’ And Fans Loved It
Lauryn Hill Files Suit Against Cousin Who Failed to Repay $65,000 Loan
‘Love & Hip Hop’ Star Stevie J Reportedly Owes $110K In State Taxes
Lauryn Hill loaned a family member a substan- tial amount of money a year ago and the star claims she has yet to receive any of the money back.
The “Nothing Even Mat- ters” singer filed a lawsuit against her cousin Gerald Hill for a breach of contract. He reportedly persuaded his cousin to let him borrow $65,000 and stated in their agreement that he would pay 10 percent interest if the loan wasn’t paid off within three months. A year has passed and Lauryn added

in court documents acquired by Bossip that Gerald never
planned on repaying her back the money.
The “Killing Me Softly” star said Gerald signed the financial contract, but hasn’t paid her back one cent. She’s requested he pay the full loan amount plus interest. Lauryn helped her cousin out after his Maplewood, NJ home was allegedly put up for foreclosure.
Lauryn could seek money for her legal fees, but instead, she’s only suing for monetary damages. Gerald hasn’t responded back to the lawsuit.
Kendrick Lamar as Laces and 50 Cent as Kanan on ‘Power’.
Ghost and Kanan were joined by a fresh new face on Sunday night, when rapper Kendrick Lamar made a surprise appearance on Power.
During the episode, Lamar played a homeless drug addict named Laces who helps Kanan settle a score against a rival.
Since bursting on the scene with his 2012 album, Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, Lamar has been hailed as one of the best emcees for a new genera- tion. Earlier this year, K. Dot became the first rapper to win a Pulitzer Prize for music when his fourth album, DAMN, was honored with the prestigious award.
Despite all of his success, it seems like the Compton-bred rapper isn’t content to rest on his achievements. He’s contin- uing to push himself in new ways.
Lamar’s portrayal of a mentally ill, yet hilarious, drug addict won him rave reviews from Power fans. Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith dubbed his friend, “Kenzel,” a nod to veteran actor Denzel Wash- ington, while the show’s Twitter account simply said, “He killed it.”
In a conversation between Lamar and Power’s creator and showrunner Courtney Kemp, the rapper said he’s wanted to appear on the hit drama for a while.
Once the stars finally aligned, Kemp and Lamar had a conversation about how she could work him into the story, but he had one request: he wanted to do something completely out of the box.
Lamar called his character a “drug abuser,” a “hot head” and “a character that I know so well, growing up in Comp- ton.” Still, despite his charac- ter’s faults, Lamar said he loved Laces because “you don’t want to see nothing hap- pen” to people like him, even though they can be dangerous.
Kemp called Lamar’s per- formance “fearless,” and the rapper said he learned how to throw himself into his art from making music.
“I think that’s just the ap- proach I take with my music, to always have that open space to evolve,” he said. “The same 100-percent I put into music, I want to put that on the screen as well. “
Judging by the reaction of Power’s fans, Kendrick nailed it.
