MRS. BRINNIE MAE LANE
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Brinnie Mae Lane of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018, will be held on Saturday, August 4th, 12 p. m. at Bible- Based Fellowship Church of Temple Terrace, 8718 N. 46th Street, Pastor Earl Mason; Bishop James Cochran, officiat- ing. The interment will be in Or- ange Hill Cemetery.
Brinnie was born on Decem- ber 24, 1932 in Madison, Florida, to the late Lester Joseph and Cora Williams. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Holiness Church. She enjoyed going to church, fishing and spending time with her fam- ily.
Brinnie was preceded in death by: her parents, Lester and Cora Joseph; husband, Willie H. Lane; son, Jonathan Lane, Sr. and great-grandson, Ethan J. Mc- Donald.
She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with: her chil- dren, Edward Joseph, Martha Brim, Rose Evans, Willie Bowles, Alan Lane, Sr., Sara Lane, Cora Lane and Avonta Lane; grand- children, Angel Gordon, Lynette Gordon, Dawn Johnson, Edwina Joseph, Willie C. Dickens, Jr., Tommy Dickens, Tyca (Toni) Thomas, Ebonie (Jeremy) Evans, Cornelius (Janae) Mitchell, Had- die (Jerimel) Miles, Patrice Bowles, Thereshan Bowles, Jonathan Lane, Jr., Demetria Q. The visitation will be held at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church, 4216 E. Chelsea Street, on Friday, Au- gust3rd from5to7p.m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at Bible-Based Church of Temple Terrace on Sat- urday for the service.

Homegoing Services for Mrs. Ethel Marie Ricks-McQuay, who passed away July 26, 2018, will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 3 p. m. at St. James AME Church, 5202 S. 86th St., Tampa, FL 33619, Rev. Michael B. Price, Pastor, Elder Tommy Jones, of- ficiating. Interment will be pri- vate.
Mrs. Ethel Marie Ricks-Mc- Quay was born in Tampa, Florida, on June 11, 1951 to Theodore Ricks, Sr. and Mildred Ellis McNair.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Leon McQuay, Sr., her parents, and her grand- daughter, Gianna Shuler.
She was educated in Hills- borough County Schools and graduated from Howard W. Blake High School in 1969. She continued her education at the University of South Florida and graduated in 2005 with a Bache- lor of Arts in Social Work. She retired after working as a Claims Manager for the City of Tampa for over 18 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Leon McQuay, Jr. (Angelita); five grandchil- dren, Khiry McQuay, Sr., Tre- varis Bradley, Leon McQuay, III, Catelon McQuay, Stefan Kitchen; two great-grandchil- dren, J’Harii Bradley and Khiry McQuay, Jr.; five siblings, Theodore Ricks, Jr. (Vickie), Judy Ellis, Sheila Nichols, Harold Ricks (Tina) and Brid- gette McNair; nieces and nephews, La Deidre Jones, Eric Robinson, Crystal Ellis, Roslyn Ellis, Valencia Ellis, Lugene Ellis, Jeremy (Marisol) Ellis, Survet Albury (Eric), Katrina Carwise (Timothy), Shandra James Hagins (Lynwood), Quin- ton Ricks, Briana Ricks, Andrea Waters, Danielle Ricks, Andre Fulks, Jr., Jordon Fulks, Bryn- den Fulks, Jasmine Small; great nieces and nephews: Bria Jones, Eric Robinson, Jr., Brianna Robinson, Zamora Ellis, Zayden Ellis, Nicholas Albury, Kaela Al- bury, Shaina Carwise, Timothy Carwise, Tiffany Carwise, Saiye’Briel Fulks; aunts and un- cles, Lillian Tolbert (Rudolph), Francis Pascoe and Robert Williams (Ruby); mother-in-law, Margaret McQuay-Brown; sis- ter-in-law, Elaine McQuay; brothers-in-law, Melvin McQuay and Reginald Garth; ex-daugh- ter-in-law, India Webb-McQuay; Howard W. Visitation for Mrs. Ethel Marie Ricks-McQuay will be held this Friday evening from 5-8 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home.
The processional will assem- ble Saturday at 2:45 p. m. at the church.

Homegoing Services for Ms. Mattie Lee Diaz, who passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 11 a. m. at The Center For Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610, Pastor James Richardson, offici- ating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Mattie Lee Diaz was born on July 23, 1951, to Mr. and Mrs. Ben Plair, Sr., in Tampa. She was educated in the Hills- borough County Public Schools. She graduated from Middleton High School, Class of 1968. She later employed herself with then Padgett Nursing Home as a Nursing Assistant. She fur- thered her employment in man- agement with Wyndham Hotels and later became a Homemaker.
Ms. Diaz loved her grand- children and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by: her daughter, Michele Plair; parents, Ben and Louise Plair, Sr.; sister, Dorothy Plair; broth- ers, Ben Plair, Jr., and Michael Bennett; and granddaughter, Alexis Reed.

MR. SERGIO RASHAD GREENE
Mr. Sergio Rashad Greene of Tampa, passed away, Wednes- day, July 25, 2018. Funeral serv- ices will be private.
Mr. Sergio Rashad Greene was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. He was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County, last attend- ing Freedom High School. Mr. Greene was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Wit- nesses and was the proud owner and CEO of Sergio’s Lawn Care, LLC.
Sergio was a loving and very devoted son, brother, uncle, fa- ther and friend. He was a hard worker and was very determined to be an all around positive influ- ence to everyone he encoun- tered. Sergio was known as a person who would go out of his way for a complete stranger.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Jones- Greene; sisters, Rita Madison and Veronica Parrish; grandpar- ents, Nathaniel Jones and Eliza- beth Jones; aunts, Rose and Faye; and nephew, Michael Stew- art.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his father, Maceo Greene; four older siblings, Eugenia Jones, Elizabeth Jones, George Scott and Blake Jones. He was the father of two children, Seriya Greene and Rashad Sergio Greene; their mothers, Eugenia Yolanda and Nicole Charles; he was a devoted uncle to his 13 nieces and 12 nephews; aunts, Toby and Juanita; and uncles, Kevin Miller, Marc, Johnny and Jerry; and a host of cousins, other sorrowing relatives and friends.

A Homegoing Catholic Mass Celebration for Mr. Ernest Nor- man, Sr. of Tampa, who passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018, will be held Saturday, August 4th 10 a. m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1203 N. Nebraska Ave., Father Hugh Chikawe, pastor, of- ficiating.
Mr. Norman was born on Oc- tober 23, 1926 in Opelousas, Louisiana to the late Noel Nor- man and Blanche Broussard. He was a devoted member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. Ernest enjoyed baseball, cooking gumbo, fishing and going for walks.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Noel Norman and Blanche Broussard; brothers, Herman Norman, Gilbert Nor- man, Wilbert Norman, Whitney Norman and Nelson Norman; and sisters, Alberta Hundley and Anna May Walker.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories with his wife, Geneva Nor- man; children, Daryl Norman, Charlene B.
