Mayoral Candidate Vows Not To Take Salary If Elected

DAVID STRAZ
On Tuesday, April 23rd, voters will choose between two candidates, Jane Castor or David Straz, for the Mayor of the City of Tampa.
They were the two top voter getters in the City Mu- nicipal Election on March 5th.
Straz has said in his ad- vertisements and commercials that if he is elected, he will not accept the $100,000 per year salary that goes with the job.
Castor has made no such announcements. When asked about her opponent’s deci- sion, she said, “He’s rich.”
