HEARING OFFICER
Hillsborough County is seeking to appoint one or more Land Use Hearing Officers as provided in the Hillsborough County Land Development Code. The Land Use Hearing Officers will conduct hearings and render decisions regarding applications for rezoning, and related matters. Applicants must have a degree in planning or related field, and three years of experience or a degree in architecture, engineering or law and licensed to practice in Florida for three years. Applicants cannot hold appointive or elective office or a position in government in order to serve as a Land Use Hearing Officer. This is a personal services contract that will pay a rate of $75.00 per hour, not to exceed $75,000 per year.
