    Back-To-School Event Is A Party And Live Concert

Organizers are still in need of supporters.
House of Woodbury Arts and Connecting Non-Profit Organizations are hosting a back to school event that will be like none other.
Richard Woodbury of the House of Woodbury Arts says that the event will be the first of its kind at Curtis Hixon Park.
The Back to School Skate Party and Live Concert at Curtis Hixon Park presented by House of Woodbury Arts and Serenity Outreach will be on Saturday, August 3rd.
The back to school and community fair festivities are from 12 noon-4 p. m., for children and families to enjoy free backpack and school supplies giveaways, games and prizes, while roller skating on Tampa’s first outdoor mobile roller skating rink.
From 5-10 p. m., the cele- bration will continue for adults with a live concert fea- turing local artists and a live band jam session, and of course more skating!
Admission is free to enjoy the event, but tickets will be sold for skating and VIP sec- tions during live concert. The event page to purchase tick- ets is back2skoolskate- party.eventbrite.com.
Woodbury said, “We are still in need of sponsors and donations, and are still

House of Woodbury (H. O. W.) is designed to build and provide a networking database for all artists to come together to support and collaborate with one another.
The mission is to expose in- dependent artists to new ventures in the industry by creating opportunities tai- lored to their talents.
H. O. W. is prepared to offer artists professional tal- ent resources that will bring their artistry and careers to the next level. By creating events to showcase talents, connecting artists with out- lets for promotion and pub- licity, and introducing artists to new spectrums of the music industry. H. O. W. ac- commodates to unsigned musical artists such as singers, rappers, musicians, poets, and songwriters.
Woodbury continued, “We also team with other tal- ent in the industry in the likes of journalism, fashion, photography, videography, radio, internet and television broadcasting. With such a large capacity of talent in- volved, H.O.W acts as a net- working database to supply artists with their specific needs to work on their proj- ects.”
          Tampa Man Wins $2,500 A Week Scratch-Off Ticket
  A local man bought one lucky scratch-off ticket: he's the first person to win the Florida Lottery's new "$2,500 a week for life" game.
According to lottery offi- cials, 51-year-old Gregory Montgomery purchased the $5 ticket from Johan
Food Mart, in Tampa. Montgomery chose to
receive his winnings as a one- time, lump-sum payment of $2,015,000.
The “$2,500 a week for life” scratch-off tickets launched July 1. The odds of winning the top prize are one in 7.5 million.
