Unsigned Preps Presents Community Service Award To 2 Former Members Of Program
This year at its annual fundraiser dinner, Un- signed Preps presented its inaugural “Tyrone Keys Community Service Award” to Clemson’s Ray Ray McCloud and USF’s Chris Oladokun. The event was held at the Centre Club on February 4th.
Both players (graduates of Unsigned Preps) were obvious choices given their years of charita- ble giving in their communities.
Ray Ray McCloud- Clemson: Every time he came home from Clemson, Ray Ray would find some way to volunteer with Unsigned Preps. Ray Ray gave of his time at Pepin Academy and Met- ropolitan Ministries.
He also co-hosted a birthday party for disabled kids with WWE Superstar, Titus O’Neil. He re- cently volunteered feeding the homeless in Down- town Tampa.
This pattern of giving has been consistent with Ray Ray since he was a freshman at Sickles High School. He has participated in various Unsigned Preps community service events since he was 14 years old.
Chris Oladokun - USF: Much like Ray Ray, Chris is a long time Unsigned Preps

giver. Whether it’s reading to kids, hosting a game of Bingo for the elderly, or contributing to the Un- signed Preps Annual Christmas Chip-In, Chris is always at the forefront of giving.
Unsigned Preps Founder Ricky Sailor made these comments on the selection of McCloud and Oladokun:
“These two men totally exemplify the core val- ues of Mr. Keys. For decades, Mr. Keys has taught Bay Area youth to come back and give back to their community even when they’re away at a college campus. The ultimate goal of Unsigned Preps and Mr. Keys is to groom student athletes to parlay their accomplishments on the field into even greater accomplishments off the field.”
When asked about selecting Keys as the name for the award, Sailor said, “It was a no brainer to name the award after Mr. Keys! There are not enough ‘thank yous’ in the world that I can give Mr. Keys for all he has done for me. This was just a small way to say ‘thank you’ for what he has done, and all he continues to do. Throughout his life, Mr. Keys has led a selfless journey of truly giving back in his community and beyond.”
