Tyga is being sued by yet another landlord after he al- legedly failed to pay for a space rented for his company, Egypt Last Kings Clothing, reports TMZ.
According to the website, the landlord found the prop- erty the 26-year-old rented abandoned and trashed last June. Doors and ceiling titles were covered with black paint and Egyptian symbols, while ink had been spilled all over the floor and poured down the drain, the latter an environ- mental violation.
The landlord would like to be reimbursed for the $75,000 spent on repairs and five months worth of rent. But Tyga claims that those prob- lems are the landlord’s fault and the space wasn’t up to code.

Birth of A Nation writer, di- rector and star Nate Parker is continuing his effort to en- sure Hollywood’s future films and actors are more diverse by launching the Nate Parker School of Film and Drama at Texas’ HBCU Wiley College.
Parker took to Twitter Sun- day (March 20) to announce the campus where Denzel Washington and Jurnee Smollett-Bell filmed The Great Debaters would now be home for students of color in- terested in film. The Beyond The Lights actor also said the school will deep-dive into all aspects of filmmaking.

As rumors swirl that one of the models of the moment, Gigi Hadid or Kendall Jen- ner, could replace Tyra Banks as host of the re- launched “America’s Next Top Model,” sources exclusively tell Page Six that Karrueche Tran could be a judge.
Tran, the former stylist and model who also previously dated bad-boy singer Chris Brown, is being considered to join the show, which is moving to VH1 after being canceled by the CW.
“They’re changing the style and tone of the show,” said a source about the upcoming season. Banks will still execu-

The 4th Annual BET Expe- rience is on its way, and some major performers have been announced to appear when the festival takes place from June 23-26.
According to The Los Ange- les Times, Usher, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Bryson Tiller, Mike Epps and Katt Williams are some of the first names announced to be per-
forming at The Staples Center during the festival, which re- volves around the network’s annual awards show, which will be held on June 26 this year at the Microsoft Theater. Other performance venues in- clude L.A. LIVE, The Novo and the Los Angeles Convention Center, and performers at these venues will be announced at a later date.
Ava DuVernay recently lost her father and is grieving his death.
However, prior to his dying DuVernay had plans in the works to aim her lens on the world of fashion this year to de- pict a historic event. According to Deadline, the revered direc- tor will helm a new production titled The Battle of Versailles, which is based on an epic fash- ion showdown of 1973 between five top French designers and five top American designers.
The occurrence was not only groundbreaking for ushering in longstanding talent, which in- cludes the names Oscar de la Renta, Anne Klein, Yves Saint Laurent, and Hubert de Givenchy, but made his- tory by enlisting a bevy of African-American models — on the American designers side — to adorn their creations and shatter racial lines in the world of fashion at that time.
The movie will also take its lead from the 2015 book The Battle of Versailles: The Night American Fashion Stumbled Into The Spotlight And Made History by Robin Givhan.
