MOTHER FLOSSIE PEARL PITTMAN
Mother Flossie Pearl Pittman went home to her Lord and Savior on March 15, 2018. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sat- urday, March 24, 2018, at 12 p. m. at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2511 E. Columbus Drive, Tampa, Florida, Rev.
Larry L. Roundtree, II, Pastor with Rev. Carl Harris, North Bay Missionary Baptist Church, offici- ating, and Pastor Antonio R. Hawkins, Exciting Faith Alive Church, eulogist. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories/Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
Mother Pittman was preceded in death by: parents, Clarence Jesse and Freddie Will Toombs Jesse; stepmother, Thelma Jesse; son, Leon Joe Elder, Jr.; daugh- ter/granddaughter, Timmetha Elder; grandfather and grand- mother (who raised her), Fred and Cornelia Toombs; and a dear and devoted uncle who was like a father to her, James “Jimmie” Toombs.
Mother Pittman leaves to cherish precious memories of her with: children, Ardretta Elder (John), Reginald Elder and wife, Catherine, Loverta Cail and hus- band, George, Diana Scott, Algie Baptist and husband, Leon, Peter Knight, Jr., Howard Anthony Knight and wife, Maria and Kathy Graham; grandchildren, Dee- drene Neal, Audry McDonald, Reginald Elder, Leon Elder, Hosea Elder, Latara Elder, Nakeisha Elder, George Cail, Jr., Michael Nash, Krystal Bowens, Damarcus Faison, Ashley Knight Simmons and husband, Marc, Jerrod Campbell, Deshayla Owens, Lawrencia Dixon, Ashley Dixon, Areona Dixon, Shawn Knight, Ykoria Knight, Peter Knight, III, Kennedi Knight, Keirsten Knight, Allen Levin, Jacqueline Knight, Ronishia Hill Knight, Luke Council, Jr., Monique Jones, Tamara Graham; a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; brother, Charles Sampson of New Jersey; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins including cousin, Lillie Toombs Minor (like a sister) and family; devoted sister-in-law, Mary Brown, New Jersey; de- voted friend, Beauty Woodson, Dawson, Georgia; a host of other relatives and friends including the Toombs, Ward, Grier, Smith, Williams and Sutton families.
Mother Pittman was born in Dawson, Georgia on July 26, 1932 to the parentage of Clarence Jesse and Freddie Will Toombs Jesse. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and a graduate of Middleton High School, Class of 1951.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day, March 23, 2018 from 5 – 8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home.
Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at ap-
proximately 11:45 a. m. for the service.

A Homegoing Celebration in loving memory of Ms. Phyllis Marshall will be held at 11 a. m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Liv- ing Faith Assembly of God, 5500 E. Sligh Ave., Tampa 33617.
MRS. BEATRICE NEAL
My mother, Ms. Beatrice Neal made her transition in my arms on Sunday, March 16, 2018 at 10:32 a. m.
She was born to the late Robert and Lorriane Randle on Oct. 10, 1937, in Texas. At 7 years of age, she relocated to Portland. She finished high school and then attended Nurs- ing School. Her career as a nurse lasted about 10 years.
On Sept. 26, 2016, she relo- cated to Tampa, FL, with her beloved daughter Nichelle and stayed with her up until her death.
Beatrice loved to cook big meals, play cards and put puz- zles together.
She leaves behind: her lov- ing daughter, Nichelle (Joe); and four other siblings, Albert (Beatrice), Pam, Sharon, and Lester.

SIS. WILLIE MAE PITTMAN DONALDSON
A Homegoing Celebration for Sister Willie Mae Pittman Donald- son, 86 1⁄2, transitioned to be with the Lord on Friday morning March 9, 2018. The celebration was held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11 a. m., Greater Mt. Carmel AME Church, officiated by Pastor Eugene Davis and Pastor R. A. Polk, eulogist. The interment was in St. Mary’s Baptist Church Cemetery, Jacob City, Florida.
She was a loving wife, a won- derful devoted mother, grand- mother, great-grandmother, who loved the Lord, her family and church family. She loved to eat Klondike Bars with her grandchil- dren and do jigsaw puzzles.
In 1971, Sister Donaldson vis- ited Greater Mt. Carmel in search of a home church. There she found members Edna Jennings and Geraldine Chastain, whom she met at Edward Waters Col- lege. They invited her to come back and she soon became a mem- ber in 1971 under the Pastorate of Rev. C. D. Lazier. She accepted the position of Director of the Youth Choir in 1976. She also served as local Director of the Young Peo- ple’s and Children’s Division (Y.P.D) of the Women’s Mission- ary Society of Greater Mt. Carmel. She holds the distinction of “SIL- VER SISTER” of the Women’s Missionary Society of the 11th Episcopal District, of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Sis- ter Donaldson also served as a Sunday School Teacher for many years, becoming Church School Superintendent in 1983 until 2001. Sis. Donaldson was ap- pointed a Steward in 1981, and also accepted leadership of Class #1 in the early 1980’s. She was a dedicated member of the Steward Board, Women’s Missionary Soci- ety, Board of Christian Education, Lay Organization Choirs #1 and Mass Choir. In 2014 she became a Steward Emeritus under the Leadership of Pastor R. A. Polk.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Leo Donaldson, Sr.; parents, Willie and Luberder Pittman, Campbell, FL and 8 beloved siblings.
Sister Donaldson is survived by: 2 daughters, Hiwartha Don- aldson, Lesila (Milton) Bennett; and 2 sons, Leo (Deloris-de- ceased) Donaldson, Jr., and Ken- neth (Gail) Donaldson. She also leaves to cherish her memories: 6 sisters-in-law, Ella Gross, Oxon Hill, MD, Rose Donaldson, Oxon Hill, MD, Merle Donaldson, Oxon Hill, MD, Jean Donaldson, Clin- ton, MD, Kathy Donaldson, San Francisco, CA; 2 brothers-in-law, Theodore Donaldson, Tampa, FL and Nathaniel Donaldson, Upper Marlboro, MD; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchil- dren, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and dear friends.

MS. NINA CAROL McBEAN-CHRISTY
On August 18, 1944, Nina Carol McBean was born to the late Louis McBean and Carrie Brown in Bronx, New York. She was raised by her Aunt Mildred and Uncle James Sands in Brooklyn, New York, where she attended and graduated from Girls High School.
After graduating from high school, Nina met and married Samuel Christy in August 1970, and at that time she was em- ployed with the Brooklyn Clerk of the Circuit Court.
The couple moved to Los An- geles, California, and while liv- ing there Nina worked for Motown Sounds. During her time with Motown Sounds, she was able to meet many of the top R&B groups/performers and be- came a big Four Tops fan. Sam and Nina later moved and set- tled in Altadena, California and to their union a daughter was born: Isis Joy Christy.
During the second phase of her professional career, Nina worked for Travelers Insurance Company, and later became a law clerk at the law firm Lilic, McColes & Charles where she eventually retired.
Nina was a resident of Al- tadena for over 40 years where she was very active in the com- munity. Among her treasured organizations, was the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, where she volunteered as a peer counselor. In addition, she shared much time and talents with the Red Hat Society, Senior Citizen Centers in Pasadena and Altadena and as a faithful member of the First African Methodist Episcopal (A. M. E.) Church of Pasadena.
Nina moved to Tampa, FL in January of 2015 to be closer to her daughter.
God said he needed another angel and allowed her to pass away peacefully at St. Joseph’s John Knox Village on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.
Preceding her in death are: her father, Louis McBean; mother, Carrie Brown; brothers, Victor Alexander McBean, Leroy (Pops) McBean; and her sister, Elva Louise McBean Montgomery.
Sister Nina leaves her loving memories with: her devoted daughter, Isis Christy; her sister, Reverend Grace Emanuel; best friend, Ruth Coley; former hus- band, Samuel M. Christy, Jr.; grand-dog, Tyson, aka My Little Pony; and other loving relatives, friends and extended family members.
Memorial Service will be at the 11 a. m. Saturday, March 24th, at Allen Temple A. M. E. Church (2101 Lowe Street, Tampa, FL 33605).
