BLOOMINGTON, MN --- Several arrests were made amid protests by the Black Lives Matter group at the Mall of America in Minnesota, offi- cials said.
Protesters moved their demonstration to the Min- neapolis-St.Paul International Airport after they were forced out of the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, where four were arrested.
The airport protesters caused "significant traffic backups," the airport said on
its Twitter account. The group first stated at the Mall of America according to its Face- book page. The protest --- on one of the busiest days of the year in one of the world’s largest malls was to bring awareness to the death of Jamar Clark by police.
Protesters, who gathered around 2:30 p.m., were met with officers using a loud horn to say the demonstration on mall property was not author- ized. The officers then moved forward until everyone exited.

Chicago Police Kill Woman And Teen After Domestic Call
Audio Released Of Laquan McDonald Shooting
Bettie Jones and Quientonio Legreir
CHICAGO - A Chicago po- lice officer shot and killed a black man and a black woman early on Saturday morning fol- lowing a report of a domestic disturbance, officials said.
The police department of the nation's third-largest city is under a federal civil rights in- vestigation for its use of deadly force, among other issues.
A recently released video of the shooting death of a black teenager by a white officer in 2014 has led to multiple protests including one on Christmas Eve in Chicago's most prestigious shopping dis- trict. Protesters have called for the resignation of Mayor Rahm Emanuel.
The latest shooting hap- pened early on Saturday on the city's west side, police said.
"Upon arrival, officers were confronted by a combative subject resulting in the dis- charging of the officer's
weapon, fatally wounding two individuals," police said in a statement.
The shooting is being inves- tigated by the Independent Police Review Authority, which reviews police miscon- duct. Emanuel recently re- placed the authority's chief official in response to com- plaints about the agency's ef- fectiveness.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office identified the dead as Bettie R. Jones, 55, and Quientonio Legreir, 19. Both were pro- nounced dead soon after being taken to hospitals.
Citing family members, NBC Chicago said Jones was a mother of five and Legreir an engineering student at Northern Illinois University. NBC said witnesses reported that Legreir had threatened a family member with a metal baseball bat.
CHICAGO, IL --- More de- tails from the night Laquan McDonald was fatally shot by a Chicago police officer are be- ginning to emerge. On last Thursday audio was released of an officer’s radio call re- questing a Taser to restrain the 17-year-old.
In the latest release, the audio was turned over to Politico and NBC Chicago after Freedom Of Information Act requests.
The audio reveals that an of- ficer requested a non-lethal Taser before officer Jason Van Dyke and other cops came in contact with McDon- ald. The teen was accused of scoping out a truckyard and vandalizing cars with a knife on the night of the fatal shoot- ing.
LAQUAN MCDONALD
Nearly one minute later, the officer requests paramedics for McDonald. He can be heard referring to McDonald as an offender, while the dispatcher refers to him as a victim.
