MRS. GWENDOLYN ELAINE TAYLOR
Homegoing celebration of Mrs. Gwendolyn Elaine Tay- lor of Tampa (formally of Armwood Court / Central Park Village), who passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015, will be held Wednesday, December 30th, at 11 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Hopkins, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Gwendolyn was born in Charleston, SC, and had been a resident of Tampa, for over 40 years.
She was affectionately known as “Boyboy.”
Gwen was a longtime resi- dent of Ybor City Rehabilita- tion, where she was well cared for and loved.
She was a member of the Ybor City Church where she was a faithful choir member.
Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Wallace Taylor.
Gwendolyn leaves behind: stepdaughter, Ms. Linda Ellis Taylor; a very devoted sister- in- law, Mrs. Victoria (Willie) White; niece, Mrs. Darlene (Michael) Hopkins; great nieces, Ms. Mahogany James and Mrs. Michelle Walker (Lavon); great nephews, Mr. Tameel Scott and Mr. Jerell Rivers; great great nephews, Tayven, Demitrius and Jacob; great great nieces, Briya and Amarie; special cousins, the Brown family; and other sorrowing family and friends.
Special acknowledgement to Ybor City Rehabilitation staff and South Tampa Hos- pice for their care of our loved one.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home, Tuesday, December 29th, from 4-7 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Wednesday for the service.

Homegoing services for Mr. John Pratt, Jr., who passed away December 18, 2015, will be held January 2, 2016, at 11 a. m. at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, 4618 N. Florida Avenue, Tampa, 33603, with Rev. Herbert McFadden, pastor, officiating. Interment of the remains will be made in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Mr. Pratt was preceded in death by: grandparents, Leroy and Patsy Rawls; un- cles, Carlos Pratt, Akanfi Pratt, Freddie (Mary) Rawls and Leroy Rawls Jr.; and an aunt, Brenda Rawls.

Homegoing celebration for Ms. Sha’mhya Hydiah Turner, who passed away De- cember 13, 2015, will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016, at 1 p. m. at Heaven Destiny As- sembly of God, 4104 E. Elli- cott St., Tampa, 33610, Tom Jones, pastor, Apostle Tony Woods, eulogist, with Pastor Sharena Woods, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Sha’mhya was born Au- gust 16, 1996 to Semeka Thomas Turner and Harlem S. Turner, Jr.
She attended public schools in Hillsborough County, and graduated from Armwood High school. She continued her education at St. Petersburg College.
At the time of her death, she was employed by Conver- gys.
She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, friends and family, and she also en- joyed attending church serv- ices at Without Walls.
She was a very outgoing and loving person to every- one that knew her and had a smile that brightened up the universe.
Sha’mhya was preceded in death by: her grandfather, John C. Bell; great grand- parents, Cora McNeil, Chris- tine and Thomas Turner, and Charley Thomas; and great grandmother, Barbara Bell.
She leaves everlasting memories with: her daugh- ter, Zacari Neal, and her daughters’ father, Marquise Neal; her loving mother, Semeka Turner (Edwin); her father, Harlem S. Turner (Lakisha); 4 sisters, Shante’era Turner, Harriya Turner, Trinitee Collins and Ashley Anderson; brother, Harlem S. Turner, IV; grand- parents, Linda Thomas, Harlem S. Sylvia L. Thompson Col- lier was born in West Palm Beach on November 20, 1959, to the parentage of Asa Lee Warren and Morgan Thompson, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Mary A. Booker, (Terry Booker); boyfriend, Byron Knight; grandkids, Katera, Terriell, Shisquita and Chekaly; brothers and sister, Morgan Thompson, Lisa Dampier, Chris Thompson and Jerry Thompson; and cousin, Shelly Thompson, and other family members and friends.

He was born October 23, 1939 in Cordele, GA.
He was the son of the late Sam and Rillie Mae Ford.
He left Georgia, where he met and married Mary Ford and resided in Tampa.
He accepted Christ at an early age. He was a devoted member at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
He worked for Florida Bin Shelving, Cubie Storage, and Storage and Hanlon.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Sam and Ril- lie Mae Ford; 4 brothers, Joe Ford, John Ford, Samie Ford and Willie Ford; 2 sisters, Helen Shivers and Annie Quarterman; and a daughter, Gloria Jean Warren.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Mary Ford; children, Shelia Pryor (Jacob), Gail Pinckney (Frank), and Sharbinette Crawford (William); sisters, Bertha Hope (L. J.), Daisy Hughes (Luke), and Doris Shivers (David); and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
