Request for Proposals
Disposition of Vacant City-Owned Property
The City of Tampa ("City") gives notice pursuant to Part III, Chapter 163, Florida Statutes, of the request for submission of proposals for the sale of vacant City-Owned Properties.
The properties are located at: 3401 North Jefferson Street and 3409 North Jefferson Street. Each property will be sold separately and is being sold on an “As Is” basis. The Proposer is required to make a firm offer for the Property, submit an earnest money deposit equaling 5% of the offered purchase price, and provide a completed and signed Land Sales Agreement and Project Proposal Form on the forms provided by the City. The earnest money deposit will only be processed if the City approves the proposal for the purchase of the Property. Upon acceptance of the Proposal by the City and approval of execution of the Land Sales Agreement by the Tampa City Council, the Proposer shall be required to pay the balance of the purchase price at closing as provided in the Land Sales Agreement.
Interested parties are encouraged to submit proposals that are consistent with applicable laws, ordinances and regulations governing the location.
All Proposers must submit the City of Tampa Project Proposal Form, earnest money deposit and a completed and signed Land Sales Agreement within 30 days of the date of publication of this advertisement or by May 27, 2016, 4:00p.m., whichever is later, to the City of Tampa Purchasing Department, 306 E. Jackson Street-2E, Tampa, Florida 33602. Mark the outside of the sealed envelope “RFP Disposition of Vacant City-Owned Property Located at: (address of property)”.
To obtain a City of Tampa Project Proposal Form, a Land Sales Agreement form and other information applicable to the Project, you may access the City website at http://www.tampagov.net/real-estate. If a Proposer would like a Proposal package to be sent via U.S. mail, the Proposer should contact the Real Estate Division by calling (813) 274-8915.
In selecting a proposal, the City is not bound to make the award on the basis of the highest monetary offer. It is the City’s goal to strengthen the mission and stability of the residential community. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, either in whole or in part, with or without cause, waive any informality of any proposals, cancel this request for proposals, and to make the award in the best interest of the City, subject to City Council approval.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS OUTSIDE COUNSEL – ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES OUTSIDE COUNSEL – BANKRUPTCY
& RECEIVERSHIP SERVICES
Port Tampa Bay (PTB) is soliciting Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified individuals and/or firms to provide legal services in two (2) separate areas of law: 1) Environmental Services and 2) Bankruptcy & Receivership Services.
All interested firms will obtain a copy of the RFQ instructions and submittal documents and submit a completed response to Port Tampa Bay, 1101 Channelside Drive, 4th Floor, Tampa, FL 33602. Submittals are due by Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. and responses will be opened at the same date and time.
There will be no pre-qualification conference for this procurement.
If interested in more than one category, please submit responses in separate envelopes; combined proposals may be deemed non-responsive. Each response must be clearly marked on the outside identifying the specific contract for which they wish to be considered:

All responses to the RFQ shall include a letter indicating the Firm’s interest and completion of the RFQ Documents. Firms failing to submit the required RFQ Documents may be deemed non-responsive. The RFQ is available through the DemandStar system (www.demandstar.com) or through a link on PTB web site (www.porttb.com).
PTB encourages the use of registered Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms to the greatest extent possible on PTB projects and has a goal of nine percent (9%) SBE participation. PTB will consider SBE participation when evaluating the responses.
