Progress Village Senior Nutrition Center
The Senior Nutrition Cen- ter offers a variety of activi- ties and events for active adults age 50 and older. Par- ticipants must be residents of Hillsborough County and at least 60 years old to qualify for the noontime meal pro- gram. Please call for up-to- date information.
Activities: Zumba Gold, Ceramics, Line Dancing, De- votional Time, Pursuit of Knowledge, Sit ’N Be Fit, Games, Bingo and Book of the Month Club.

Adult Day Services
Adult Day Services offers comprehensive health, social, supportive, and therapeutic services for functionally im- paired seniors in a commu- nity-based setting. Adult Day
Services aims to help families whose loved ones wish to re- main at home as long as pos- sible, but struggle with providing care.
Eligibility: Hillsborough County residents age 60 and older who have decreased physical, mental, or social function.

Every 3rd Saturday of the month clothes and more are given FREE by First Baptist Church of Progress Village.

Henri- etta’s cells have been bought and sold by the billions, yet she re- mains virtually unknown, and her family can’t afford health insurance.

   Charmettes Hosts Another ‘Puttin’ On The Ritz’
  Charmettes and their guests at the event included: Ruby French, Mark Alexander, Gloria Alexander, Juanita Cannon, Earl Newsome, Mona Newsome, George Wilds, Jacqueline Wilds, Margaret Fisher, De- lores Williams, Janice London, Betty Kinsey, Herman Broxton, Joyce Austin, John Austin, Cheryl Baker, Yvonne Waldon and Luvator Nelson.
 The members of the Hills- borough County Chapter of The Charmettes, Inc., along with a large crowd of guests, celebrated the chapter’s an- nual holiday ball, “Puttin’ On The Ritz,” Friday, December 22, 2018, at the American Le- gion Post 111, in Seminole Heights.
The ballroom was beauti- fully decorated with a large Christmas tree, and other
Christmas ornaments of red, white and black. Black top hats and canes adorned each table as center pieces.
Music was provided by JD Kold, who kept the dance floor full of dancers the entire evening, with music from every era from the 70’s to 2017. Line dancing, led by DJ Kold was the highlight of the evening. A great time was had by all.
Charmettes who made sure the evening was enjoy- able were: Charmette Betty Kinsey, Chairman; and Charmette Joyce Austin, Co-Chairman. Com- mittee members were: Charmettes LeJoan Franklin, Cheryl Baker, Luvator Nelson, and De- lores Williams. Charmette Janice Lon- don is Chapter President.
