FAMILY NOTICE
MR. RANDY LEE RUCKER
Mr. Randy Lee Rucker of Tampa, passed away on Wednes- day morning, June 13, 2018. Fu- neral Services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 2 p. m., at the Florida Mortuary Fu- neral & Cremation Services, 4601 North Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, FL, with Pastor Antonio Hawkins, officiating.
Mr. Rucker was born on De- cember 21, 1955, in Lincolnton County, Georgia, and has been a resident of Tampa for over 50 years. He was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1973, and continued his education at Florida A&M Uni- versity. Mr. Rucker retired as a Lab Technician with Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL.
Randy played football in high school and in college at FAMU. He enjoyed hosting Super Bowl parties at home for family and friends. His favorite NFL team was the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Randy had a passion for cooking. Over several years, he owned and operated Smokin’ Bones Mobile Grill and Barbecue business, the pride and joy of his heart.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Alex Rucker, Jr.; his daughter, Lamita Michelle Rucker; and aunt, Annie Ruth Williams-Bryant.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and de- voted wife, Gussie Mae Rucker; son, Randy Lee Rucker, Jr.; de- voted mother, Carrie Mae Rucker; two brothers, Robert Rucker and Mathew Baker; uncle, Johnny Williams, Jr.; four aunts, Joyce Williams, Christine Bucklon Elizabeth Moore (Ike); and Dorothy Sails (Arnold); three nieces, Shamika Rucker, Lavonda Humphrey and Nekeda Simmons Sosa (Amil- car); nephew, Mathew E. Baker; a host of cousins and other close relatives; and dearest friends, Charles Gibson, Rick Singleton, J. T. Smith and Gerald Stone.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday, June 23, 2018,from1p.m.–2p.m.inthe Florida Mortuary Chapel.

MS. DESTINY NICOLE DOUGLAS
Celebration of Life Services for Ms. Destiny Nicole Douglas will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018, 1 p. m. at Re-Birth Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 1924 E. Comanche Ave., Tampa, FL, Minister Grady Green of Impact Church, officiating.
Destiny Nicole Douglas was born on October 15, 2000, and called home on June 18, 2018.
She was a long time active member of Impact Church under the leadership of Pastor Tom Garrett.
She leaves many to cherish her memories: her parents, Shawna Humphries, Darren and Lashell Douglas; her grand- parents, Johnny Douglas (Patri- cia), and Janet Jackson-Shaw (John); her sisters, Jordan Douglas, Jazzmine Kelly, Dar- rien Douglas, Khaira Kelly, Kyndal Kelly, U’niq Ricks, Tamarea Adkins; and brothers, Braelon Kelly and Lonnie Ad- kins; and a host of aunts, un- cles and cousins. Also, many church family members, and close family friends to include: Lincoln Tamayo of Academy Prep Center of Tampa, Keisha Perry (Antowan), Tara Phillips (Donivan), Karl Davis (Que) and Ahaziah Williams.

MR. ZEBBIE LEE ‘BIG MAN’ THOMPKINS, JR.
Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Zebbie Lee “Big Man” Thompkins, Jr., who passed away on June 10, 2018 will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Village Blvd, Tampa, Florida with Senior Teaching Pastor, Dr. Sam Maxwell, Sr., officiating. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by: his daughter, Christie Thomp- kins; sisters, Daisy Thompkins and Mazzie Moore; nephew, Zeb- bie B. Thompkins; and niece, Minnie Ross.
Mr. Thompkins leaves to cherish memories of him with: his wife, Mamie J. Thompkins; 3 daughters, Canitha, Pam and Dot- tie; 2 sons, David and Andre; 2 granddaughters who he raised, Marquia McCalla and Markeosha Burgess; 2 great-grandsons, who he also raised, Anthony Johnson, III (Lil Amp) and Cameron Ortiz (CamCam); several other grand- children and great- grandchil- dren;1 brother, Obbie Thompkins (Lois); 2 sisters, Ruby Dale Diggs and Maggie Moore; nephews, Theodis (Veronica), Greg (An- toinette), Aubry (Caprice), Tom, Anthony, Maurice, Michael, Fer- nandez and Patrick; nieces, Glo- ria, Kay, Beulah, Gelandine, Aretina (Calvin), Vicki, Angie, Barbie, Amanda, Carrie (Reggie), Jewell (Debra), Elaine (Butch), and a host of other nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Eula Ann Young and Peggy Rodgers; and a host of other friends and family members too great in number to name.
Mr. Zebbie Lee Thompkins, affectionately known as “Big Man,” was born on June 29, 1942, to Zebbie and Beulah Thompkins in Dublin, Georgia. He came to Tampa, Florida when he was 11 years old in 1953. Mr. Thompkins attended the public schools in Tampa, Harlem Elementary and Booker T. Washington. Zebbie was a Head Coach for Belmont Heights Little League Baseball and West Tampa Spartans Foot- ball for many years. He was em- ployed with Cargill Fertilizer as an Oil Technician for over 30 years prior to his retirement. Zeb- bie was a hard worker, very out spoken and you couldn’t help but to love him no matter what mood he was in. On some days he would talk noise and other days he would be as sweet as honey.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day June 22, 2018, from 5 – 8 p. m. with the family present to re- ceive friends from 6 – 7 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home.
Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at ap- proximately 10:45 a. m. for the service.

A viewing for Mr. Roosevelt Walter Williams, Sr. of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Mon- day, June 11, 2018 will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018, from 5 – 8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida. A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, in White Springs, Florida and the re- mains will be interred in Eastside Cemetery.

Mr. Roosevelt Walter Williams, Sr. was born on July 6, 1971 to the late Roosevelt Walter Williams and Vanderlyn Williams Jones. He at- tended the public schools in Hills- borough and Suwanee Counties.
He was a proud father. Mr. Williams was well known all over the Tampa Bay Area for his sense of humor and living life large.
Mr. Williams was a coach at Belmont Heights little League for many years. He loved children and they loved him. He was a huge giver and would give you the shirt off his back. He will be greatly missed.
