1st Annual Tampa Bay
Six of the partners of the Tampa Uptown Ladies In- vestment Partnership (TULIPs) enjoyed an ex- tended weekend trip to New York City, visiting several tourist attractions, including the 9-1-1 Memorial and Mu- seum and the Wall Street Dis- trict.
Among the many high-
lights was an Off, Off Broad- way Show and a visit with President Obama and the First Lady.
The show, 55 Alive and Kickin’, is an inspirational piece about how the show’s performers refused to suc- cumb to the “hard knocks of life” by succeeding in their personal lives and by taking
advantage of a second oppor- tunity to showcase their tal- ents on stage.
The visit with President Obama and the First Lady was at the Madame Tus- saaud’s Wax Museum.
The mission of TULIP is to educate and empower women interested in the world of fi- nancial investments.
