Authorities Ask For Help In Unsolved Homicide
Man Faces Attempted Murder Charge In Shooting
On March 22, 2015 at 5:02 a. m., Tampa Police received a call reporting a person had been shot. Officers found Bryant Murray, 44, in the front yard of a duplex at 1743 West Walnut Street, in West Tampa suffering from a gun- shot wound. He was trans- ported to a local hospital, where he died from his in- juries.

Prior to the shooting, Murray had been sitting at a
table with others playing dominos in front of the du- plex.
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect in the case.

Second Driver In Wrong Way Accident Dies

A second driver involved in a four-car accident last Friday has died. The accident took place shortly after 11 p.m., last Friday on Highway 60 and Bugg Road, in Plant City.
A spokesperson for the Florida Highway Patrol said, Avimael Hernandez-Sar- gento, 37, of Lake Worth, died on Tuesday. Hernandez- Sargento was traveling in the wrong direction in the west- bound lane of State Road 60, approaching Bugg Road. His passenger, Omar Hernan- dez, 26, also of Lake Worth, remains in serious condition.
Jonathan Molina, 24, of Lakeland, was ejected from his vehicle during the collision. He died after being transported to Tampa General Hospital.
Luis Aneudis Diaz, 34, of Valrico, and Ubeline Rivera, 51, of Tampa, were also involved in the accident. Neither of those drivers re- ported any injuries.
Police said while attempt- ing to avoid a collision with Hernandez-Sergento, Diaz steered to the right, and as a result, Hernandez-Ser- gento’s vehicle struck the left side of Diaz’ vehicle, then struck Molina’s vehicle head- on. Molina’s vehicle went into a spin and collided with the left side of the semi truck driven by Rivera.
The investigation into the accident is continuing.
The Tampa Police Depart- ment has arrested a 36-year- old man in connection with a shooting at a local business. The man was charged with at- tempted first-degree murder and armed robbery.
According to police, the shooting took place on March 1st at the Rim Masters, 4709 E. Hillsborough Avenue. It fol- lowed an altercation involving the victim and two other men.
Police said John Render, 30, and his sister arrived at the business and were ap- proached by two men who be- came engaged in an argument with Render. As the argu- ment continued, both men are alleged to have pulled hand- guns from their waistbands and started shooting at Ren-
der. The two men then fled the scene in a newer model black pickup truck.

Detectives Investigating Bank Robbery

Police developed informa- tion about the suspects and arrested Anthony C. Ed- wards, 36, on Wednesday. Edwards was charged with attempted first-degree murder and armed robbery.
The second suspect in- volved in the accident has not been arrested and the investi- gation is continuing.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that on May 11th at 9:19 a. m., an un- known Black male entered the bank of America at 8320 Han- ley Road in Town ‘N Country and waited in line for an open teller.
When he approached the teller, the suspect reportedly handed the teller a note imply- inghehadagunandde- manded money.
The suspect fled with the cash across the parking lot on foot. He was seen crossing Hanley Road into the Publix Shopping Center parking lot where he entered an unknown type vehicle that fled east on Waters Avenue.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 5’9” to 6 feet tall, weighing between 130 and 160 pounds and was last seen wearing a green and gold USF

Wrong Way Driver Charged In Crash That Killed Motorcyclist
Charge Filed Against Man Upgraded To Murder
A 21-year-old man was ar- rested Monday night and charged after an accident claimed the life of a motorcy- clist. The driver could be fac- ing other charges.
According to the Plant City Police Department, an officer observed Osbaldo Campos driving in the wrong direction on Reynolds Street, shortly after 11:30 p.m., which is a one-way street. The officer at- tempted to make a traffic stop near North Michigan Avenue, but Campos reportedly con- tinued on.
When the Nissan Cam- pos was driving reached the intersection of Thonotosassa Road and North Alexander Street, the officer once again attempted a traffic stop, once again, Campos allegedly
failed to pull over, police said.
A short time later, Campos struck a
motorcycle OSBALDO head-on at CAMPOS the inter-
section of W. Baker Street and N. Mobley Street. The motor- cycle was driven by Ms. Claudia E. Alderman, 59, of Plant City. Ms. Alderman was transported to Tampa General Hospital, where she died from her injuries.
Campos was taken into custody and charged with 2 counts of failure to obey a lawful order.
The investigation into the accident is continuing.
Last month, an 18-year-old Tampa man was arrested in connection with a shooting. The victim of the shooting later died.
The Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office has up- graded the charges after re- viewing the case. The young man now faces second-degree murder charge.
According to police, Jar- rod Tyrone Coachman, Jr., of Tampa, was riding his dirt bike in the Highland Pines area of town. He was riding eastbound on E. 21st Avenue and N. Cord Street on the evening of April 8th, when an unidentified Black man re- portedly fired a handgun at Coachman, striking him sev- eral times. After being struck by the gunfire, Coachman crashed on the motorcycle.
Coachman was trans- ported to Tampa General Hos- pital in serious condition. Police secured the scene and obtained several shell casings at the intersection of N. Cord and E. 21st Avenue.

Female Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested

during the investigation, po- lice arrested 18-year-old Ty- Darrious D. Kirkland, on April 10th, and charged him with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Kirkland was held at the Hillsborough County Jail without bond.
On Wednesday, April 15th, Coachman died as a result of the injuries he sustained.
Ms. Janelle McGregor,
spokesperson for the Tampa Police Department said, “Once the victim passed, we continued working with the State Attorney’s Office to de- termine if the charge would be upgraded. The charge was amended to second-degree murder on April 30th, and Kirkland was charged with the murder on May 7th.”
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that detectives have arrested a woman suspected of robbing three banks Monday in less than 30 minutes.
Detectives said Cindy Carabeo, 50, walked into the BB&T Bank, 655 Brandon Boulevard at 3:19 p. m. and presented a written note to the teller claiming to have a firearm and demanding cash.
Carabeo was given cash and she fled the bank.
At 3:35 p. m., Carabeo reportedly walked into the Wells Fargo Bank at 204 South Kings Avenue and pre- sented a written note to the teller claiming to have a firearm and demanding cash. As with the previous robbery, she was given cash and she fled the bank.
At 3:43 p. m., Carabeo reportedly walked into the Florida Central Credit Union, 334 Oakfield Drive and re-
peated the
same acts.

Detectives were able to get the tag number of a 2004 4- door Suzuki owned by Carabeo that was seen at each of the robberies.
Detectives and other law enforcement personnel began searching for Carabeo near her home when they spotted her driving into the apart- ment complex where she was immediately arrested.
Bank representatives from each of the three banks identi- fied Carabeo as the person who robbed their banks.
Carabeo was charged with three counts of armed bank robbery and is being held on $225,000 bond.
