SPIES IN DISGUISE
'Josephine Baker's Last Dance:’ Paula Patton To Star In And Produce Project On Legendary Performer
So Lance Sterling (Will Smith) tries to steal an at- tack drone. It doesn’t work. The agency he works for thinks he stole it because Robohand (Ben Mendel- sohn), the guy who did steal it, could copy Lance’s face somehow. They never really explained that. And he has to find it, but he turns into a pi- geon. To help him turn into a pigeon is this person nobody really knows called Walter Beckett (Tom Holland).
Walter and Lance are great characters because they feel relatable in some ways.
Walter is shunned by his su- periors and he finds accept- ance in the one man (Lance) he thought would accept him least.
This animation is excel- lent. The plot device of some- one turning into a pigeon through genetic manipulation was unique, to say the least. The movie may have been a little too complicated for some younger kids who may have been the target audi- ence. All in all, it's a must see. Spies in Disguise opens next Wed. (Christmas Eve) Dec. 24 at theaters.
