They have increased security measures at the arena and in- creased the police presence fol- lowing Monday night’s tragedy in Manchester.
At press time there are no credible threats to Los Angeles or its venues.

Mural of Biggie Smalls on the building in Brooklyn.
After receiving backlash from Hip Hop purists and local residents, landlord Samuel Berkowitz has de- cided to keep the two-story Biggie mural painted on the side of a building on Bedford Avenue and Quincy Street in Brooklyn. One of the artists responsible for the giant trib- ute, Naoufal “Rocko” Alaoui, spoke to Berkowitz, who admitted he didn’t realize how much
Biggie meant to the New York City borough.
After the initial story broke, supporters wrote petitions calling for it to be land- marked. Both artists who cre- ated the mural, Alaoui and Scott “Zimer” Zimmer- man, were inundated with phone calls from people who wanted to help. The Brooklyn Nets also offered their love and support on Sunday (May 21), Biggie’s 45th birthday.

BET Is Prepping Bobby Brown Mini-Series
Judge Tosses Lawsuit Against Dr. Dre And Snoop Dogg’s Song ‘Ain’t No Fun’
California judge has dis- missed a lawsuit over Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s 1993 song “Ain’t No Fun (If The Homies Can’t Have None).”
Two little-known rappers from Los Angeles launched legal action against the stars and their collaborators Ku- rupt, Warren G, and the late Nate Dogg last summer, claiming the hook was lifted from their original tune, also titled “Ain’t No Fun,” which was released in 1991.
According to reports, the plaintiffs played the song for Snoop, Dre, and their then- label boss Marion “Suge” Knight, among others, and agreed to let them use it in ex-

change for a recording con- tract with Suge’s Death Row Records.
However, the deal never came to fruition and they al- leged the song was later recorded by Snoop and friends without their permis- sion.
The Bobby Brown story will be told in 2-part series.
After the well-received New Edition biopic/miniseries which premiered in January, BET is looking to continue the momentum by producing a miniseries about the group’s resident “bad boy” Bobby Brown.
The network had re- hired “New Edition Story” writer Abdul Williams and executive producer Jesse Collins to curate the “The Bobby Brown Story,” which will go more into depth about his life, a.k.a his tenure with New Edition and success as a solo artist. The mini series will con- sist of two parts, each part 2- hours long airing over two nights.
“New Edition Story” drew in a total 29 million total viewers and brought much-needed rat- ings to the floundering network.
