90th Birthday Celebration
Family members and friends joined Alfonzie Wright for his 90th birthday celebration. The event was held at Ragan Park Auditorium. In addition to his family, there were about 200 friends in attendance from his old neighborhood, Sulphur Springs area and his church, St. Matthew M. B. Church. Many joined him as they were attired in his favorite colors – brown and green. (Photos by Julia Jackson)

He is surrounded by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The honoree’s 92-year-old sister, Laura Jordon of Warner Robins, GA, was in town for the birth- day celebration.

Among the guests in attendance were: Robert Wright, honoree’s nephew; Rev. Louise Jackson and Dr. Luiclle Davis of Warner Robins, GA.
