Appreciation Program Planned To Honor Rev. And Mrs. Eddie Nunn
The children of Pastor
Geraldine Nunn, in joint sponsorship with Mrs. Marie Tarver White, have
planned an “Appreciation of Love” service for the Senior Pastor and his wife.
The children: Janice Nunn-Nelson (Alfred), Eddie Nunn, Jr. (Vandy), Valerie Nunn, Stephen Nunn (Vickie) and Angela
Green (Calvin), along with 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, are inviting everyone to join them as they show love and appreciation to the couple.
The service is planned for Saturday, September 23,
2017, 4 p. m. at St. John Pro- gressive M. B. Church, 2504 E. Chipco St., Tampa 33605. Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Sr., Pastor, is the guest speaker.
“It is with great honor that we celebrate the extraordi- nary lives of Rev. Eddie and Sis. Geraldine Nunn and the milestones of accom- plishments in their journey of divine purpose and des- tiny,” the children said in a joint statement.
In their marriage of 65 years, the Nunns have con- sistently given of themselves, their gifts and resources to others. He is retired from the University of South Florida and she, from the Hillsbor- ough County School District.
Over decades, the couple has shared their wisdom, guidance and support to many – near and far – through 30 years of pastor- ing, mentorship, musician- ship, leadership and entrepreneurship.
