Career Cafe
Check out this free event from the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida for all girls in high school or college. Trans- portation is available (for ex-
ample, from Chamberlain High School, can serve as a pickup/dropoff for groups at the school).
Empowering women to be strong, bold, and success- ful ids what this event is about. It started in 2017 as a Girl Scout Gold Award Proj- ect, the Career Cafe is a free job hunting skills workshop for all young women in high school or college.
The Career Cafe Menu consists of: Successful Job Hunting, Resume Writing, Interview Do’s & Don’ts, Net- working, Personal Branding, Mock interviews and How To Get Your Dream Job.
Attendance at the Career Cafe will include continental breakfast and a light lunch, as well as a tote bag with give-aways.
