SIMONE BILES AND JONATHAN OWENS
Simone Biles is going to be a wife! The Olympic gold medalist and Houston Texans safety Jonathan Owens are now engaged!
The gymnast posted a series of photos to Instagram of Owens proposing in a gazebo in Houston, Texas. She’s seen in a cute black mini dress while he rocks a sharp gray suit. She also shared a video of her beautiful sparkly oval-cut diamond ring.

Mike Tomlin Releases Statement After Hiring Brian Flores
MIKE TOMLIN AND BRIAN FLORES
Former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores ac- cepted a job with the Pittsburgh Steelers, despite an ongoing lawsuit against the NFL, as Mike Tomlin named the for- mer head coach as Pittsburgh’s senior defensive analyst and linebackers coach.
Shortly after the news re- leased on Saturday, Tomlin re- leased a statement on Flores’ hiring.
“I am excited about Brian Flores joining our coaching staff given his history of devel- oping and teaching defensive players during his time in the NFL,” Tomlin said. “Brian’s resume speaks for itself, and I look forward to him adding his expertise to help our team.”
Flores was fired by Miami this past offseason. He inter- viewed for the New York Giants head coaching vacancy but was ultimately not selected for the role.
Flores on Feb. 1 filed a law- suit against the NFL and the New York Giants, alleging racism in their hiring practices. The lawsuit is still ongoing.
Draymond Green’s House Robbed
Jackson To ‘Prove’
Of Over $1 Million In Belongings
Himself Again
During Super Bowl Weekend
The Baltimore Ravens are gambling with their future. Lamar Jackson’s contract status is set to dominate the Ravens‘ offseason. He’s in line for a bumper new deal, but a significant pay hike can’t be taken for granted.
Jackson is supposed to be a legitimate franchise quar- terback and, for the most part, he’s played like one. Not everybody is convinced, though.
One Fox Sports host be- lieves Jackson needs to prove himself all over again after dealing with injury, while also regressing in the statisti- cal column almost every sea- son he’s been a starter.
Jackson Challenged To Show He’s Franchise Contract-Worthy
Speaking as co-host on a recent episode of First Things First, Fox Sports’ Chris Broussard challenged Jack- son to “prove, again, that he’s that guy.”
Broussard retweeted the segment, but the portion Ravens fans should be inter- ested in begins at the 3:00

mark:
The idea Jackson is on
the wane is borne out by the numbers. He was named NFL MVP in 2019 after throwing 36 touchdowns and just six in- terceptions. Jackson also rushed 176 times for 1,206 yards and seven scores.
Those were awesome stats, but Jackson hasn’t exceeded those totals in any category since. His touchdown passes fell to 26, then 16, while the picks jumped to nine, then 13.
Naturally, injuries have impacted Jackson’s produc- tion, particularly during the 2021 season. He only made 12 starts and saw his campaign derailed when he injured his ankle against AFC North rivals the Cleveland Browns in Week 14.
While Golden State War- riors star Draymond Green was attending last Sunday’s Super Bowl, his home in Los Angeles was reportedly robbed of more than an estimated $1 million worth of valuables.
“Warriors forward Dray- mond Green’s L.A. house was ransacked during Super Bowl weekend ... and over $1,000,000 worth of stuff — watches, jewelry, and other property — was stolen,” TMZ Sports reported.
“Law enforcement sources tell us 31-year-old Green — who attended Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium in Los Ange-

“The alleged perps entered Green’s residence through his window ... and made off with watches, jewelry, and other personal property. “

Richardson Accuses Olympics
Of Racial Discrimination
Track star Sha’Carri Richardson has alluded to racial discrimination by the International Olympic Com- mittee (IOC) after news broke of a Russian Olympian being allowed to compete despite testing positive for a banned substance.
Richardson—who was suspended and unable to com- pete in the 2021 Tokyo Games after testing positive for mari- juana—took to Twitter to share her reaction to ice skater and gold medal favorite Kamila Valieva being given a pass to compete in the ongo- ing Beijing Games.

“Can we get a solid answer on the difference of her situa- tion and mine?” Richardson tweeted in response to a clip about the topic. “My mother died and I can’t run and was also favored to place top 3. The only difference I see is I’m a black young lady.”
NFL RB Adrian Peterson Will Not Face Felony Charge
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office will not charge free-agent running back Adrian Peterson with a felony in connection to his arrest at Los Angeles Interna- tional Airport, reports say. Pe- terson was arrested at the airport on last Sunday on a do- mestic violence charge after he and his wife got into a heated argument that morning.
Peterson claims that while on their flight to Hous- ton, he and his wife got into an argument and while trying to pull the wedding ring off of her finger he left a scratch on her hand.
On Tuesday, his wife, Ash- ley Peterson, posted a state-

ment to her Instagram ac- count saying her husband did not become physically violent with her.
She did not press charges and Peterson was released on a $50,000 bond the same day. He claims the state of Cal- ifornia pressed charges only because of the scratch on her hand.
