A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held in Tampa Heights at 604 E. Frances Avenue, Tampa, FL, Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. ONLY ATTENDEES of this meeting will be eligible to bid this project. The sealed bids must be submitted to Florida Department of Transportation, Property Management, 7-900, 11201 N. McKinley Dr., Tampa, FL 33612 by 3:00 p.m. August 16, 2018. No bid will be considered unless submitted on the official Proposal Forms provided by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Bids are for the sale of both a vacant 9,842 SF lot located at 602 E. Frances Avenue and the 1,600 SF house structure currently located at 604 E. Frances Avenue. The successful bidder must relocate the house at 604 E. Frances Avenue to the lot at 602 E. Frances Avenue at their own expense. The FDOT will not pay for any fees or expenses associated with the move and will retain ownership of the vacated lot at 604 E. Frances Avenue. Current permittable access is one ingress/egress. FDOT will reserve oil, gas and mineral rights as required by law.
The property’s current estimate of value is $90,000.00. FDOT reserves the right to withdraw the property if bids for the estimate of value or above are not received.

PORT TAMPA BAY INVITATION TO BID (ITB) B-009-18 PROJECT NO. 18-01818 PENDOLA POINT RAIL IMPROVEMENTS
Port Tampa Bay (PTB) is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors interested in upgrading the Pendola Point Rail from 100 lb. rail to 115 lb. or 119 lb. Please see bid documents for specific bid items.
Prospective bidders are required to participate in the MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE and MANDATORY SITE VISIT scheduled for Monday, July 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the PTB Board Room, 1101 Channelside Drive, 1st Floor, Tampa, FL 33602.
The ITB is only available from DemandStar (www.demandstar.com). Interested firms shall submit a completed response to Port Tampa Bay, 1101 Channelside Drive, 4th Floor, Tampa, FL 33602. Sealed Bids are due by Friday, August 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at which time all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
PTB encourages the use of registered Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms to the greatest extent possible on PTB projects and has a goal of nine percent (9%) SBE participation. PTB will consider SBE participation when evaluating the bids.
