   Tarpon Springs Middle School
Student Gets Letter From Governor For His Performance On Test
  Jeremiah Garrison and his parents, Beau and Robyn Garrison, were ex- cited and honored when he received a letter from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
The letter congratulated Jeremiah for his perform- ance on the 2019 Florida Statewide Assessment. The governor said, “Your assess- ment results tell us that we are on the pathway of pro- viding a world-class educa- tion for all students, and I am proud of you.”
Jeremiah was also re- cognized by his 4th grade teacher, Ms. Levine, at Mildred Helm Elementary School in Largo, where he is
exemplifies all of the charac- teristics of a class leader. He is caring, motivated, organ- ized and a great communi- cator.”
The School Board of Pinellas County presented him a certificate for ‘Perfect Attendance.’

  George S. Middleton High School Senior Offensive Lineman, Winyorri Kelly signed a football scholarship with Rochester Community and Technical College in Rochester, Minnesota, on Wednesday in the Tigers' Henry "Shake" Washington Auditorium. He is shown with Middleton Head Football Coach John Courtney and Principal Tia Brown. Several other Middleton stu- dent athletes are making their college choices this month.
