Belmont Heights Little League Opening Ceremony
The Belmont Heights Little League held its opening ceremony on Friday evening, March 11, 2016. Many of the youngsters displayed new uniforms, shoes and hats. Many of the teams’ uniforms were provided by the Tampa Bay Rays. (Photos by BRUNSON)
The Coach-Pitch Blue Rays are sponsored by Happy Home Center. The team’s coaches are Keith, Keith and Eddie. Team members are: Da’Shawn Bynum, Marcus Carter, Demarion Catucy, Daniel Davis, Derim Davis, Ronnel Dixion, Rashad Edwards, Antonko Henry, Ryon McCray, Ijaquon Stone, and Javeiona Young.
Napoleon is the coach of the Minor League Brew- ers sponsored by Wilson Funeral Home. Team mem- bers are: Ahmad Baron, Jr., Angelo Campaz, Jeremy Carlyle, Jr., Ashton Goggins, Keywan Massie, Sam- mie Napper, Xoan Pomales, Christopher Pope, Bi- ship Riggins, Marcus Smith, and Johnny Tyson.
The Grey Rays are sponsored by Fat Boys Beauty Sup- ply. Members of the coach-pitch team are: Jordan Bolen,. Deon Chandler, Benjamin Chappel, Jaryia Colson, Aariyah Little, Marquise Littles, Jerome Lott, Karinah Lovett, John Randall, Cristopher Small and Syncere Tyler. Missy is the team’s coach.
The Yankees, one of the minor teams, are sponsored by Cool Gator Enterprises. The Minor League Cardinals are coached by Tony Wimberly and Quesley Fields. Cole’s Barber Shop is the sponsor. Coaches C. Boy and Lil Frank are in charge of the Minor League Dodgers, sponsored by 1828 Entertain- ment.
