The Pasco County Sher- iff’s Office is looking for a man who reportedly ac- costed a high school student at a New Port Richey bus stop Friday.
According to a report, at 6 a. m. the Hudson High School student was at her bus stop when a Hispanic man driving an older model green 4-door car stopped at the bus stop. The man re- portedly repeatedly asked her if she wanted a ride. She
refused and got on her bus when it arrived.
Deputies said the bus driver saw the man and the vehicle when she pulled up to the bus stop. She said the car pulled away when she ar- rived.
The student described the man was short, wearing a baseball cap, and between 30 and 40 years old.

AT&T Fires President Over Racist Memes On Phone
Knoyme King, a 50- year-old assistant at AT&T, says that she was asked to transfer data from her boss’s old phone to his new phone and found racist memes that were offensive to African Americans. That discovery, along with being denied pro- motions and getting meager salary raises, King said, led her to file a $100 million dis- crimination lawsuit against AT&T, the Associated Press reports.
AT&T announced Tues- day that it had fired Aaron Slator, King’s former boss, who was the president of content and sales.
One of the images al- legedly found on Slator’s cellphone was that of an African child with the words “It’s Friday N--gas,” AP re- ports.
The lawsuit names Sla- tor as a defendant, along with CEO Randall Stephenson and board
AARON SLATOR ..president of content and sales
member Joyce Roche. Ac- cording to the report, several high-ranking employees have also been named.
Skip Miller, King’s lawyer, said that when King told the bigwigs about it, nothing was done to address the issue, and Slator was not reprimanded.
“This is an AT&T prob- lem; it’s not just an Aaron Slator problem,” Miller said.
Miller said that King, a Black woman, has worked at AT&T for 30 years.
