8th Annual Ramadan Celebration
Attorney Delano Stewart Retires
After decades of courtrooms, meetings, and other events, Attorney Delano Stewart has an- nounced his retirement. His retirement ceremony was held at Allen Temple AME Church.
On Monday, July 6th at the Chester Ferguson Law Center, the 8th annual Ra- madan Community Iftar event was held.
The Mistress of Cere- mony for the event was Chaikirah Parker, with the welcome and purpose being given by Dr. Husain Nagamia of the Tampa Bay Muslim Alliance.
Recognition of special guests was given by Candy Lowe, and the Beauty of Ramadan was provided by Dr. Adel Eldin.

Annual Father’s Day Dinner
On Saturday, June 20th, the St. Peter Claver Council of Catholic Women held their annual Fa- ther’s Day Dinner. For more than ten years the women have served a home cooked meal to the men of the parish. The soul food menu included greens mac & cheese, rice, green beans, navy beans corn break, turkey, ham, roast pork, potato salad, green salad, and an assortment of desserts.
