Line Dance Connection Class Travels To Washington For Awards Program
About 50 members and friends of the Florida Line Dance Con- nection Class traveled to Washington, D. C. for the 10th Annual UC Star Awards the weekend of January 27-29th. (Photos by Julia Jackson)

While in Washington, photographer Julia Jackson visited the African-American Art Museum and bumped into former Tampa res- ident, Karen Hayes. They posed in front of the statue of Josiah Walls, elected as a Congressman in Florida during Reconstruction.
