JHARREL JEROME
It was a celebratory and emotional moment for actor Jharrel Jerome as he re- ceived his first Emmy for Lead Actor in a Limited Series for When They See Us.
Jerome accepted the ac- colade Sunday (Sept 22) at the awards ceremony at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. In the series directed by Ava Du- Vernay, the Bronx native portrayed Korey Wise, one of the Exonerated Five who were falsly accused of a crime he and four others didn't com- mit. Visibly emotional, the 22- year-old gave thanks to his parents during his acceptance speech.

   Estate Has Raked In
Almost $2 Billion
Kevin Hart has A LOT to be thankful for.
The 40-year-old actor/co- median almost lost his life after his Plymouth Barracuda veered off the road and landed in a ditch in Califor- nia earlier this month. He was a passenger and two oth- ers were in the car. The two 911 calls from a witness and an unidentified woman plus the paramedics saved his life.
Hart suffered major back injuries with his spine fused in three places. He was re- leased from the hospital last week and was moved to a re- habilitation facility.
Hart is finally back home. He’s expected to make a “full recovery.” A physical therapist will visit his home daily. A source close to the situation says Hart has a “new perspective on life.”
  Since His Passing
It’s been 10 years since the King of Pop died back in June 2009, but that certainly has- n’t stopped the Michael Jackson brand from making money—billions to be exact.
The executors and lawyers in charge of Michael Jack- son’s estate have apparently been working very hard be- hind the scenes to keep his brand alive and incredibly lu- crative. Recently uncovered legal documents show that since his passing a decade ago, the Michael Jackson estate has accumulated al- most $2 billion—after report- edly being $500 million in debt before he died.
In a recent court filing of legal documents of Michael’s estate, his legal team and executors stated the following about the rebuild- ing of his brand:
“With the assistance of their counsel, the Executors have successfully rebuilt and enhanced Michael Jack- son’s image, solidified the MJJ business as a significant entity in the entertainment industry, entered into and continue to enter into un- precedented business deals that have produced, and will in the future produce, signifi- cant revenues for the Estate.”
Michael Jackson's Estate Claims Temporary Win In HBO "Leaving Neverland" Lawsuit
The estate of Michael
MICHAEL JACKSON
Jackson isn't letting their foot off of HBO. Following the release of Leaving Never- land, MJ's estate took legal action against them. They claimed that HBO violated contract agreements stem- ming from Jackson's 1994 live concert special that aired on the network. Despite this, HBO's denied any wrongdo- ing and attempted to have the case thrown, but it appears as if the judge isn't siding with them.
Judge George Wu handed over a temporary win to Jackson's estate in their suit against HBO. The judge dismissed HBO's motion to have the case thrown out. The estate has been fighting to get a public arbitration. The judge later told HBO to file an anti-SLAPP motion. How- ever, since he denied their motion, the statute wouldn't apply to public arbitration.
KEVIN HART
Hart hasn’t made any public statements as of yet. His last IG post mentioned how much he loves being home, so it’s wonderful that he’s finally back.
Another source reports that Hart is going to take legal action against the com- pany who customized the car. It was previously reported that his Plymouth Barracuda wasn’t safe to be on the road.
  ‘The Rookie’ Actor
Accused Of Misconduct
 By Afton Williamson
The actor accused of sex- ual misconduct by former The Rookie star Afton Williamson has spoken out personally three days after being cleared in an investiga- tion by producers eOne.
Westworld alum Demetrius Grosse took to social media in his first direct public statement since being implicated with harassment by Williamson on August 5, who quit the Nathan Fil- lion starring show the day before too.
On September 17, eOne said that they had an inde- pendent investigation con- ducted on Williamson’s claims and concluded “that those identified in Ms. Williamson’s allegations did not conduct themselves in an unlawful manner or

demonstrate behavior inap- propriate for the workplace.” Williamson responded to the investigation conclu- sions with “what saddens me the most is that the lengths that were taken to Deceive, Lie, and Cover Up the Truth, were far greater than those made to Protect and Main- tain a Safe Working Environ-
ment for Employees.”
