Rides To The Polls
   Free Rides To The Polls Planned For Election Day

On November 6th, the Gen- eral Election for 2018 will take place. In Florida, voters will have the responsibility of elect- ing a new governor and his cabinet as well as local candi- dates.

All Hillsborough County residents qualify for the ride to the polls. Riders must have a valid voter’s registration card and a government issued iden- tification card to participate.
Anyone in need of a ride is encouraged to call (813) 857- 4558, or (813) 727-7567 to make reservations as soon as possible. If there is no answer, leave your name and tele- phone number. Someone will return the call, Brinson said.
Information For Voters
Individuals who choose to vote on Tuesday, November 6th, which is the day slated for the 2018 General Election, will be required to vote at his or her assigned precinct.
   Roll To The Polls With A Free Ride From HART On Election Day
 Free rides on HART - Tuesday, November 6, with valid voter information card
The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) is offering free rides to Hillsborough County polling locations on Election Day.
Voters can ride at no charge on all HART services, except for HARTPlus.
The Roll to the Polls pro- motion will run throughout the day on Tuesday, Novem- ber 6, 2018, on any HART bus by showing a valid voter information card upon boarding.
"As a community partner, we take pride in doing our part to offer free rides to the polls to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to vote. HART is once again pleased to offer this service to Hills-
borough County residents, said HART Interim CEO, Jeff Seward. "We'll get you to the polls safely and, the best part, absolutely free on Election Day."
Customers are encour- aged to prepare for their trip by identifying their polling lo- cations, and the specific routes necessary for travel before starting their trip. Please check your voting sta- tus by visiting the Hillsbor- ough County Supervisor of Elections website.
"Our residents have nu- merous important decisions to make on Election Day and finding a ride to the polls should not be one of them," said HART Chief Administra- tive Officer and Interim Chief of Staff, Kenyatta Lee.
