Mother Estella Vinson Celebrates 103rd Birthday
Bells and whistles were going off on Laurel Street in Carver City a few days ago. All of the noise was for the celebration of Mother Estella Vinson’s 103rd birth- day. Her daughter, Willie Mae Williams, hosted the drive-by event that also included Fire Dept. #8 and local TV stations. (Photographs by Julia Jackson)
